This is a personal build made for my self, based on DESIRE HD. Is 99% stock, % battery indicator and some animations/icons. It's fully DEODEXED so you can theme it as you want. Also if it's a bit slower then ODEXED builds. I tried also to keep most of the apps, wallpapers and other stuff in it. But most important it uses to put all your DATA folder on EXT partition on your SD CARDso you dont have to worry about storage limite on LEO512

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - NEW USERS WITHOUT CWR INSTALLED OR WITH CWR BUT USING ANOTHER ROM ===

This process will erase everything on your nand. So, if you are already using a previous rom, backup everything!

1. First of all: DON'T USE THE MAGDLR FUNCTION "USB MASS STORAGE" TO COPY YOUR FILES ON THE SD. IT IS BUGGED AND WILL CORRUPT YOUR FILE. YOU HAVE TO USE AN SD CARD READER.
   
2. Download PANASONIC SD FORMATTER and use it to format your card with SLOW ERASE
   
3. Prepare your SD Card with first partition primary FAT32. This is where you will put all your stuff like music, videos... so make it bigger as possible less the space for the EXT partition. Ext partition must be EXT3 or EXT4, primary, and must be the second partition of the SD card, just after the FAT32. The EXT partition will be seen from your phone as it's internal storage memory. Maximum 1gb EXT is suggested, bigger one can cause issues. 4. After the partition are created, you need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread
   
5. Download the FULL RAFDROID PACKAGE and copy the entire zip (not extracted!) on the SD CARD root.
   
6. Put the SD CARD in your phone and power it on and go in the MAGDLR menu (hold the power key while powering up)
   
7. Select BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
8. Click on INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD and then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
9. Select the FULL_RAFDROID_HD_EXT_*r*.zip that you downloaded before.
   
10. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation then Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
    
11. First boot can take up to 20 minutes. If you are stuck on white screen with HTC logo just wait. If you hear boot sound more than one time, you had a bootlop and something has gone wrong. Maybe your partitions are not setted up properly. Delete everything, reformat your SD card and try again.
    
12. When you see the lockscreen, give at least 5 minutes to settle. Then do all your settings and then reboot again
    
13. Enjoy.
    
14. Remember: if you want to avoid Data Corruption always choose SHUT OFF and not reboot!
    

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS RAFDROID VERSION (2.2 or greater) WITH ALREADY CWR INSTALLED===

Since 3.0 is completely new base and a lot of bugs are fixed, I suggest to backup your apps with Titanium Backup or another backup app, format your ext3 partition and start fresh. If you prefer to keep your old data partition please understand that you could have bugs, instability, slowness, and some bugs that are fixed will remain not fixed for you.

It's your choiche, if you still want to keep your data partition, instructions below:

1. Make a NANDROID Backup
   
2. You need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread. Old CWR is NOT compatible!!!
   
3. Download the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip and save it to your SD card root
   
4. Enter in MAGDLR by powering up the phone and holding power botton until MAGLDR screen appears and Enter in CWR Recovery by selecting BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
5. Create a NANDROID backup! This will save you in case something goes wrong and you want to roll-back!
   
6. Wipe your dalvik-cache!
   
   
7. Select INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
8. Select the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip that you downloaded before.
   
9. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation
   
10. Go back and select BACKUP AND RESTORE, then ADVANCED RESTORE.
    
11. Select your backup then select to restore "sd-ext" if you are on 512 leo, "data" if you are on 1024 leo.
    
12. When restore is complete, go back and wipe your dalvik cache.
    
13. Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
    
14. First boot can take up to 20 minutes. If you are stuck on white screen with HTC logo just wait. If you hear boot sound more than one time, you had a bootlop and something has gone wrong. Maybe your partitions are not setted up properly. Delete everything, reformat your SD card and try again.

Used some ideas and code bits from Dandiest's init script.

You can create a config.txt file on the

root

of your sdcard to configure some things at boot.

Actually you can configure

RMNET or PPP connection

GPS Zone

SD BOOST

- RMNET or PPP

ppp_mode=0 -> RMNET (default)

ppp_mode=1 -> PPP

- GPS ZONE

gps_zone=[your country] example gps_zone=europe

sd_boost=0 -> sd bost not active (default)

sd_boost=1 -> sd boost active

* SD Boost deactivate journal on your ext partition. This gives you more performance but if you not shut off your phone properly or you pull out the battery while running you can have data loss or data corruption. If you activate sd boost, then you want to go back to norma sd usage, just change the config.txt back to sd_boost=0 and journal will be recreated on next boot *

The init script will also create an init.log file on your sd card at every boot. This will help you and me with debugging if something not works fine. If you have issues please always post your init.log file when reporting your problem.

Das partitionieren der Karte hat nichts mit der Version des Telefons zu tun, sondern nur damit, wieviel Speicher Du für Deine Apps brauchst. (1GB ist eigentlich ideal.)

Der Unterschied zwischen dem europäischen und der amerikanischen HD2 ist der NAND-Speicher: Das europäische hat 512 MB NAND, das amerikanische 1024 MB! Da Du Android in den NAND-Speicher flasht, bleibt bei der EU-Version kaum noch Speicher für Deine Apps, also brauchst Du den "Trick" mit der SD-Karte. (die ext-Partition wird von Android als Telefonspeicher erkannt). Bei der US-Version ist das nicht nötig, da Du trotz Android immer noch mehr als 512 MB echtes NAND zur Verfügung hast!

Ob Du die Partition in ext3 oder ext4 anlegst, ist eigentlich egal -...ext4 ist (angeblich) etwas schneller, aber der Geschwindigkeitsunterschied ist in der Praxis nicht merkbar. Vorteil ext3: Die Partition kannst Du mit einem Partitionierungsprogramm (z.B. EASUS) auch unter Windows anlegen, für ext4 brauchst Du eine Linux-Distri (z.B. Ubuntu LiveCD o.ä.)

Also ich bin sehr zufrieden damit, hab ein paar ausprobiert und dieses hat mir eigentlich am meisten zugesagt. Es gibt (so viel ich weiß) keine bugs oder ähnliches und es ist sehr zuverlässig...es gibt nur einen einzigen punkt, der mich etwas stört: nach dem start des systems, ist es so ca 2-4 min nicht wirklich möglich mit dem handy irgendwas zu machen, weil es anfangs noch sehr stark laggt. wenns sich dann aber mal "gefangen" hat, läufts wirklich zügig. Ja, ich würde es wieder flashen

Hatte ein früheres Raf drauf und wollte jetzt mal aktualisieren. In der XDA Beschreibung bini ich jetzt bis Punkt 14 gekommen, und da verliessen ihn die Geister........ Ich habe überall erfolgreiche Meldungen bekommen. Habe auch nur 3 Dateien auf meiner Karte. Nun hakt es bei mir beim MAGLDR 1.1. Gehe im Menu auf USB Flasher und will dann die DAF.EXE aus dem CWR Packet starten. Leider funktioniert nur das starten, dann krieg ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Hatte ein früheres Raf drauf und wollte jetzt mal aktualisieren. In der XDA Beschreibung bini ich jetzt bis Punkt 14 gekommen, und da verliessen ihn die Geister........ Ich habe überall erfolgreiche Meldungen bekommen. Habe auch nur 3 Dateien auf meiner Karte. Nun hakt es bei mir beim MAGLDR 1.1. Abend, oder Guten Morgen

Habe gerade mittels der modifizierten Version von CFW (aus dem XDA Dev thread) das Rom geflasht. ist auch alles wunderschoen, vorher die SD Karte Partitioniert, eine 1 GB ext3 Partition gemacht usw.

flashen lief ohne probleme durch.

NUR:

findet Android die speicherkarte nicht! in den Einstellungen steht "Nicht verfuegbar" und beim Telefonspeicher steht 0.00B wodurch keinerlei einstellungen gespeichert werden.

Eine data.img konnte ich im xda thread nicht entdecken, obwohl ich diese ja so weit wie ich lese brauche....

Windows erkennt die Speicherkarte problemlos, auch ueber MAGLDR V1.2 wird die Speicherkarte (FAT32) erkannt.

nun steh ich hier n bisschen aufm Schlauch, wenn ich die data.img fuer den leo512 dringend brauche, wozu dann die ext3 partition? ist ja 1 GB "Verlorener" Platz, wenn ich die data.img nutze, bin davon ausgegangen das es fuer App2SD ist.

Werd jetzt mal versuchen das ROM nochmal neu zu flashen, evtl. bringts besserung.... waere aber schoen wenn jemand ne idee hat

EDIT: Fehler gefunden, hatte vergessen die ext3 partition als primaer zu markieren, nun rennt die sache

Du brauchst keine data.img. dafür ist die ext Partition da. Formatier einfach nochmal die SD karte und geh dann nach meiner Anleitung vor die hier nen paar Seiten weiter vorne steht, dann sollte das gehen.

Ich habe aber auch noch ein Problem mit rafdroid. Bei mir kommt immer noch nicht bei jeder sms eine benachrichtigung. Ich habe das mal beobachtet und mir is aufgefallen, dass die benachrichtigung immer weg bleibt, wenn eine sms ankommt, man die öffnet und das sms Symbol in der Statusleiste stehen bleibt. Dann kommt bei der nächsten sms kein Ton und Sie wird nur in der Konversation angezeigt aber sonst nirgends. Im devs thread steht da nichts zu leider habt ihr das Problem auch?

hab die rom jetzt seit 3 tagen drauf. Anfangs lief sie nur sehr langsam mittlerweile gehts schon, wenn man durch die menues geht ist es schon flüssig nur wenn man aus apps kommt oder welche öfnet hackt es schonmal oder was ich auch schon hatte das sens komplett neu geladen wird und man erstmal den ladebildschirm hat.

wollte mal fragen ob man das ganze irgendwie takten kann durch neue kernl oder so?

habe davon jetzt nicht so die ahnung mache eigentlich immer alles nur nach anleitung nur lese auch ständig im xda forum das man die rom taktet und sie dann plötzlich richtig gaß gibt und trotzdem wenig strom zieht.

ich habe ein Problem mit HTC-Hub.

Bei HTCsense.com habe ich mich angemeldet. Mit dieser EMailadresse und dem Kennwort habe mich mich beim HTC-Hub angemeldet.

Beim HTC-Hub erscheint die Meldung "Katalog kann nicht heruntergeladen werden. Tippen Sie, um es erneut zu versuchen."

Wenn ich das getan habe kommt nach dem "Ladeversuch" die Meldung "Verbindung zum Server kann nicht hergestellt werden."

Was funktioniert ist folgendes: Wenn ich bei HTCsense auf Klingeln klicke. Klingelt mein Telefon.

das habe ich gelesen.

Aber da stimmt nicht alles.

Bei mir Funktioniert das HTC-Likes und Heatsets.

Ich habe meinen Kopfhörer in den HD2 gesteckt und ich kann Musik hören. Auch mein Bluetooth-Heatset funktioniert.

Wird das HTC-Hub beim Update funktionieren?

er hatte ja diesen Text nicht von Anfang an stehen weil es nicht komplett nicht geht, sondern nur teilweise. die haben dann aber da rumgeheult und da hat er einfach reingeschrieben es würde nicht gehen. er arbeitet aber nach eigenen angaben an einer lösung.

hmm... nach wievor ist das ROM etwas langsam.... auch der "bug" mit dem Wakeup aus dem Standby tritt noch hin und wieder auf.

Werde wohl wieder aufs Hyperdroid umsteigen, was mich einfach mit seiner schnelligkeit ueberzeugt hat.

Nein du wirst keine Geschwindigkeitsunterschiede durch die Class der Karte bemerken. Du hättest lediglich leicht höhere Transferraten vom PC zur SD Karte.

Noch dazu, dass die Nand Roms ja nicht mehr von SD laufen (wie der Name schon sagt ), spielt die SD Karte ein noch untergeordnetere Rolle.

Hatte heute folgendes Problem im Büro.

Display war dauerhaft an im Lockscreen,Handy war abgestürzt,keine Tasten oder Touchfunktion mehr.

Also Batterie raus,wieder rein und Neustart.Sense wollte danach neu eingerichtet werden,alle Einstellungsparameter waren weg.Warnungssymbol oben links in der Ecke,kein Speicherplatz mehr...

Scheint die ext3 Partition nicht mehr erkannt zu haben.

Hab nun zuhause alles neu installiert, nun läuft wieder alles.

Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht bei diesem Rom?

Habe keine Lust alle anderthalb Tage alles neu aufzuspielen..
