This is a personal build made for my self, based on DESIRE HD. Is 99% stock, % battery indicator and some animations/icons. It's fully DEODEXED so you can theme it as you want. Also if it's a bit slower then ODEXED builds. I tried also to keep most of the apps, wallpapers and other stuff in it. But most important it uses to put all your DATA folder on EXT partition on your SD CARDso you dont have to worry about storage limite on LEO512

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - NEW USERS WITHOUT CWR INSTALLED OR WITH CWR BUT USING ANOTHER ROM ===

This process will erase everything on your nand. So, if you are already using a previous rom, backup everything!

1. First of all: DON'T USE THE MAGDLR FUNCTION "USB MASS STORAGE" TO COPY YOUR FILES ON THE SD. IT IS BUGGED AND WILL CORRUPT YOUR FILE. YOU HAVE TO USE AN SD CARD READER.
   
2. Download PANASONIC SD FORMATTER and use it to format your card with SLOW ERASE
   
3. Prepare your SD Card with first partition primary FAT32. This is where you will put all your stuff like music, videos... so make it bigger as possible less the space for the EXT partition. Ext partition must be EXT3 or EXT4, primary, and must be the second partition of the SD card, just after the FAT32. The EXT partition will be seen from your phone as it's internal storage memory. Maximum 1gb EXT is suggested, bigger one can cause issues. 4. After the partition are created, you need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread
   
5. Download the FULL RAFDROID PACKAGE and copy the entire zip (not extracted!) on the SD CARD root.
   
6. Put the SD CARD in your phone and power it on and go in the MAGDLR menu (hold the power key while powering up)
   
7. Select BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
8. Click on INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD and then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
9. Select the FULL_RAFDROID_HD_EXT_*r*.zip that you downloaded before.
   
10. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation then Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
    
11. First boot can take up to 20 minutes. If you are stuck on white screen with HTC logo just wait. If you hear boot sound more than one time, you had a bootlop and something has gone wrong. Maybe your partitions are not setted up properly. Delete everything, reformat your SD card and try again.
    
12. When you see the lockscreen, give at least 5 minutes to settle. Then do all your settings and then reboot again
    
13. Enjoy.
    
14. Remember: if you want to avoid Data Corruption always choose SHUT OFF and not reboot!
    

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS RAFDROID VERSION (2.2 or greater) WITH ALREADY CWR INSTALLED===

Since 3.0 is completely new base and a lot of bugs are fixed, I suggest to backup your apps with Titanium Backup or another backup app, format your ext3 partition and start fresh. If you prefer to keep your old data partition please understand that you could have bugs, instability, slowness, and some bugs that are fixed will remain not fixed for you.

It's your choiche, if you still want to keep your data partition, instructions below:

1. Make a NANDROID Backup
   
2. You need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread. Old CWR is NOT compatible!!!
   
3. Download the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip and save it to your SD card root
   
4. Enter in MAGDLR by powering up the phone and holding power botton until MAGLDR screen appears and Enter in CWR Recovery by selecting BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
5. Create a NANDROID backup! This will save you in case something goes wrong and you want to roll-back!
   
6. Wipe your dalvik-cache!
   
   
7. Select INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
8. Select the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip that you downloaded before.
   
9. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation
   
10. Go back and select BACKUP AND RESTORE, then ADVANCED RESTORE.
    
11. Select your backup then select to restore "sd-ext" if you are on 512 leo, "data" if you are on 1024 leo.
    
12. When restore is complete, go back and wipe your dalvik cache.
    
13. Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW

Used some ideas and code bits from Dandiest's init script.

You can create a config.txt file on the

root

of your sdcard to configure some things at boot.

Actually you can configure

RMNET or PPP connection

GPS Zone

SD BOOST

- RMNET or PPP

ppp_mode=0 -> RMNET (default)

ppp_mode=1 -> PPP

- GPS ZONE

gps_zone=[your country] example gps_zone=europe

- SD BOOST

sd_boost=0 -> sd bost not active (default)

sd_boost=1 -> sd boost active

* SD Boost deactivate journal on your ext partition. This gives you more performance but if you not shut off your phone properly or you pull out the battery while running you can have data loss or data corruption. If you activate sd boost, then you want to go back to norma sd usage, just change the config.txt back to sd_boost=0 and journal will be recreated on next boot *

The init script will also create an init.log file on your sd card at every boot. This will help you and me with debugging if something not works fine. If you have issues please always post your init.log file when reporting your problem.

Das hoffe ich allerdings auch. Mal ein hd build von mdj mit data.IMG auf sd wäre spitze. Bin zwar mit miui futureshock ganz zufrieden vor allem mit der Geschwindigkeit (Über 2100 im Quadrant Standart),möchte aber gerne wieder zum normalen He wechseln. Rafsroid will ich nicht und ein normales diskret build US mir irgendwie zu einfach....

also bei mir läuft das Rom auch super! Habe bis auf folgende 2, kein einziges problem was hier beschrieben wird. Läuft sauschnell! Bei mir dauert es beim starten immer noch was länger, so um die 2 min. Aber dann, Rakete! Viel schneller wie ein SD Build! Mein zweites problem, ich komme ohne WLAN nicht ins Netz. Ich habe gelesen das eine manuelle Einstellung des VPNs dem Abhilfe schafft. Kann mir da bitte jemand behilflich sein?!

Was für ein Anbieter hast du denn?Einfach unter Einstellungen - Drahtesel Netzwerke - Mobile Netzwerke - Zugangspunkte - ....dann Windows-Taste drücken und auf APN hinzufügen.suchte dann unter Google für deinen Anbieter die APN einstellung und dann am ende speichern

hast mich irritiert, hab mich gefragt warum es bei dir sauschnell läuft und bei mir langsam, habe was ausprobiert und statt meinem runtergeladenen Live-hintergrund ein normales genommen, und siehe es läuft schon viel flüssiger.

Habe heute auch das build draufgemacht weil ich weil mir beim Gingerbread von mdj das Sense fehlt. Habe aber jetzt folgendes Problem. Ich habe keine Root Rechte obwohl Superuser drauf ist. Mir ist aufgefallen das es im Supoeruser app ein update für die Su Binary´s gibt. Kann aber leider nicht updaten. Schätze mal das es daran liegt das es kein natives System ist.habe jetzt auch über den ASTRA dateimanager das superuser app aus dem System/app verzeichnis gelöscht und neu über den market installiert. Hat aber leider nichts gebracht.

Hat den keiner von euch das selbe Problem.

Bei mir läuft es auch mit einem Live Hintergrund sehr flüssig....das einzige ist eben das booten, da dies aber nicht häufig vor kommt, egal :-D

Was heißt denn "dauern" oder "langsamer"?

Kann man das in Sekunden beschreiben? Oder evtl mit Winmob 6.5 vergleichen? Oder doch schneller als Windows?

Könnt Ihr dazu evtl Eure Erfahrungen mal schreiben?

das war bei mir nur am anfang so. mit jedem neuen boot ists schneller geworden, jetzt rennt es.....nur der bootvorgang dauert ziemlich.

es ist unterschiedlich, manchmal erwacht es sofort aus dem standby so wie es sein sollte und manchmal dauert es bei mir zum beispiel bis zu 15sek.

das geht bei mir im bruchteil einer sekunde....hatte erst auch diverse probleme, aber mit einer schnellen, sauber formatierten sd card und task29 läufts jetzt wirklich stabil und schnell.

micro sd cards sind in geschwingigkeitsklassen eingeteteilt. class 4 oder 6 sind die flotten.

also ich hab ne class 4 karte, aus dem Standby dauert es bei mir ca. 2 sekunden.

Und wenn es mal richtig zur Sache geht

bleibt es fast stehen.

Und Sense nur wegen der Wetteranimation?!?

Klar ist fanzy widget weit entfernt davon aber

dafür laufen diese Builds einfach flott (Bsp: mdj gingerbreade 1.6).

Also das erwachen dauert bei mir NIE länger wie der Bruchteil einer sekunde! Und ansonsten ist das Ding Mega flott unterwegs. Außer es sind gerade 30 Progs gleichzeitig am laufen, syncen usw..... dann ruckelt es ganz kurz!

hmm, verstehe nicht warum bei einem schneller läuft wie bei dem anderen, haben doch die gleichen Handys und das gleiche NAND, ich denke nicht das es allein an der Speicherkarte liegt.

verrate uns dein Geheimniss

welche Data Image hast du genommen 512Mb oder 1GB

werde jetzt trotzdem mal versuchen die Speicherkarte zu Formatieren, ohne schnellformatierung und mit 4096 Bytes als Zuordnungseinheit.

mal schaun ob sich was ändert.
