With the help of crawlingcity and rafpigna on IRC, I bring you my CyanogenMod 7 ROM flashable by CWM.

Currently A 150MB system partition and 5MB cache partition is required. Any system partition over 150MB will work, but will leave less NAND space for /data/ (which means less room for internally installed applications). The system partition size of this ROM used to be 125MB, but it has grown in size.

I plan to update this to the latest nightly frequently and keep up with the latest fixes. The purpose of this build is to port the latest stock CyanogenMod 7 Desire (bravo) base to HD2 with the minimal amount of changes required with no custom apps. Keep in mind that this is my personal build and I am sharing it with you.

Known issues:

-Auto backlight does work but custom auto backlight levels do not. This started occurring once LED Notifications began to work. They are both tied to the lights library but it will remain this way until a new lights library is available. I feel that this is the best middle ground because to me LED notifications are essential.

FAQ:

-Will a DFT flashable version be released? I feel that CWM is a superior way to flashing and for data backup/recovery. I never plan to release a DFT flashable version.

-Will you include navigon fix (libmedia.so). Currently this keeps CM7 based builds from booting.

-Why does the camcorder force close? Make sure you have the back camera selected.. It closes with the front camera selected (which this phone does not have).

-I have Blurry MMS: Set UserAgent to "NexusOne" in messaging.

-Where can I change MMS Max Size? This can be adjusted if you use handcent messaging, not within the stock messaging app.

-If you are getting an issue that nobody else seems to be having.. Check the md5sum of the file you downloaded, if it is not the same as posted re-download the .zip file and transfer it to your SD card again. File transfer corruption does happen and this is most likely the cause.

-Can I upgrade to a newer version without loosing my data/settings? Yes. Just make sure you back it up with CWM just in case something goes wrong. I have used the same data since before I released v1.0 on XDA. There should be no problem with keeping your data. But don't expect to come from another ROM and keep your data without issues.

-How can I adjust CPU voltage? Edit the user editable script in /system/etc/init.d/98cpu_voltage to change voltage values for the CPU. Values between 800-1350 are accepted for each CPU clock speed but don't expect 800 to be stable at 1190mhz. This script is executed upon startup. You can run it manually via adb by typing sh /system/etc/init.d/98cpu_voltage to see effects before a reboot. I would suggest only putting a stable script in this location, and having "test" scripts on your sdcard to try before replacing the one that is run on bootup.

-I get NAND Kernel open failed upon booting after flashing. You have picked the wrong version of the ROM for your bootloader. Make sure you pick the cLK version for cLK and MAGLDR for MAGLDR.

Voltage control script Information:

As you can see in my script, I adjusted to the lowest possible value that I found stable for my phone on each frequency. I feel that is the best way, however.. if you want a quick and easy way, you can also do it this way:

incrementing/decrementing all levels by a specified amount* (mV):

echo '-25' > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/vdd_levels

echo '+25' > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/vdd_levels

All you would have to do is delete everything in the current script, and just have + or - the value you would like.. it would apply it universally. To see current levels type cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/vdd_levels . All of these commands can be done via adb shell, gscript lite, or editing the init.d script I have provided. Make sure that you use a unix compatible text editor:

beim booten bleibt das handy bei dem android zeiten eifnach stehn und startet neu und das die ganze zeit? kann mri wer sagen wieso?

Leider funktioniert dieses Rom nicht mit dem Extended Rom zsm Fällt für mich also weg.

Hatte ich auch, nachdem ich die Standard genommen habe ging alles. Hat aber Dominic83 schon im Post #10 geschrieben, das es mit der RAM Eidition Probleme geben kann

moin,

mal eine frage....

wie sehe ich das ich die externe partition erfolgreich belegt habe? erstellt habe ich sie es fehlt mir auch 1 gb von 8 gb, sichtbar ist sie aber doch nicht auch der interne speicher hat die gleiche größe angezeigt, wird jetzt auch immer kleiner bei install. von apps.

ich habe so das gefühl das ich es nicht richtig gemacht habe, da ich nicht so ganz durch die anleitung zum erstellen durchgestiegen bin, ist ja keine vollständige step by step anleitung da.

das einzige was mir aufgefallen ist habe mal als test 2 spiele installiert unter anderem angry birds das wollte nicht laufen und dort ist mir aufgefallen das ich es von der sd (ob das der partitionierte teil war weis ich nicht) ins rom schieben konnte/musste dann lief es.

sd to rom = richtig alles, was nun installiert wird, landet nun automatisch auf der ext partition; der nand datenbereich bleibt hier außen vor und wird erst genutzt, wenn die ext partition voll ist. zum kontrollieren kannst du quick system info benutzen zB; titanium backup erzählt diesbzgl nur schrott (bei mir zB zeigt es eine 128 ext partition an, die angeblich mit 101 mb belegt sein soll; nur habe ich diese nie erstellt, diese existiert auch nicht (überprüft unter linux)).

um apps also endgültig auf die ext zu verschieben, in die anwendungsverwaltung gehen, das jeweilige programm antippen und "verschiebe ins telefon" antippen. "verschiebe auf sdkarte" bewegt die app auf die fat32 partition; was sinnfrei ist. dann hätte man sich die erstellung der ext part. auch sparen können...

so nach 2 mal neu installieren habe ich immer noch das gleich problem? oder anzeige fehler...

systemspeicher gesamt 125 mb / frei nur noch 772 kb was kann da schief gelaufen sein...

1. du installierst das CWM, dass er im ersten Post bei XDA anbietet

2. du installierst das Rom über eben dieses CWM

3. du installierst eine der 3 App2sd Varianten, die im ersten Post bei XDA zum Download bereit stehen

Danach hast du ca. 240mb internen Speicher frei und alles was du installierst wird zum Großteil auf die SD installiert.

Mehr ist da nicht und genau so muss es funktionieren!

BTW: Glaube ich du hast ein falsches CWM installiert, sonst hättest du von Anfang an mehr als 125mb Speicher frei...

Also wie immer: An die Anleitung des jeweiligen Kochs halten, dann läuft das ganze auch ohne Probleme

exakt so habe ich es gemacht sogar das radio noch mal obwohl ich schon seit wochen die 2,15 fahre...

werde es noch mal angehen ....

so habe jetzt noch 2 mal geflasht unter anderem sogar einmal das original htc stock rom und dann erst den rest diesmal hatte ich 1,02 mb frei von 125 mb bin mit meinem latein am ende wäre nett wenn mir da mal jemand weiterhelfen könnte.

werde jetzt noch mal "seadersn"/CM 6.1.1 V1.2 rom flashen und schauen wie es da aus sah da hatte ich aber nicht nicht die extra partition erstellt und A2SD+ installiert.

Das kann ich mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen. Habe jetzt schon mehrfach, aus Spaß, immer wieder versucht es so zumachen wie Du. Aber diese Probleme habe ich nicht. Irgendetwas musst Du falsch gemacht haben. Es klappt auf jeden Fall. Glaube es uns. Ich frage mich nur, wie Du auf 125MB freien Speicher kommst. Wenn ich es genau nach Anleitung flashe, dann habe ich ca240MB frei

Für interessierte: die 2.1.2 ist draußen!!!

War bei mir auch am Anfang der Meinung die Ext3 nicht erstellt zu haben. Habe es nachträglich gemacht und es hat funktioniert. Bei Titanium Backup wird es ophne Probleme und in voller Größe angezeigt (Speicherkarte A2SD 998 mb) oder so!

Aber für dich ist doch nur der "interne Speicher" relevant?! Nur dort werden Programme installiert.

Der Systemspeicher ist meiner Meinung nach der Teil, der von CWM nur fürs System bereitgehalten wird. Da das angepasste CWM aus seinem ersten Post nur 125mb erstellt, ist das eben komplett ausgenutzt.

Würdest du ein CWM mit 150mb oder gar 300mb installieren, dann wäre zwar der Systemspeicher größer, dafür aber der wichtige "interne speicher" geringer.

Du hast also einen Denkfehler

Es ist alles in Ordnung. Wenn Du Titanium Backup drauf hast, schau mal nach wieviel A2SD Speicher Du frei hast. Alles andere ist völlig in Ordnung.

Habe das mit dem Systemspeicher nicht richtig gelesen. Also, es ist alles OK.

Sieht es bei Dir auch so aus?? Den A2SD Speicher kann man auch mit Quick System Info auslesen
