- fixed for good Widgets FC. It wasn’t related to ROM and if right conditions were met it would happen on any custom rom running modded system files.(example: I saw users reporting same bug in lyapota’s thread running other roms)

Issue was happening when phone was running low on memory and Android was closing said widgets. When those widgets were executed again they were ran under different uid => FC. Solution was to stop Android from killing those widgets. the actual code to make system stop closing the widget is from m0narx. so all props to him.

17.1.1-repacked

Because half of the users were having problems with odexing the rom due lack of know-how:

I made it optional in AROMA. If you check the ODEX my ROM box, odexing will happen on 1st boot

Fully automated and without user interaction. just sit back, sip ur coffee and let the script do the work for you.

Don’t panic. On 1st boot phone will seem to be frozen at bootanimation. Wait 2-3 minutes, phone will reboot itself. All done

Odexing:

Cons: You won’t be able to flash any themes on top of rom

Pros: Faster bootup time, faster phone, more free memory

You need to reboot to bootloader and flash the boot.img via fastboot.

Musst nicht sofort in die Defensive Habe die Featureliste ja auch bei XDA gesehen. Dachte eher, dass mir einer von Euch schreibt, was ich einstellen muss für den Homescreen quer. "Display automatisch drehen" ist natürlich aktiviert.

Lohnt es sich denn zu dieser Zeit seinen Hboot zu updaten ?

Habe die richtige CID, und es juckt schon in den Fingern, aber ich weiß nicht

Recht, wenn man nicht mehr zurück kann.

Andererseits wird es doch eh wahrscheinlich von HTC ein offizielles Hboot update geben, oder ?

Der HBOOT wird definitiv mit dem offiziellen OTA aktualisiert, der bei den xdas angebotene kommt ja auch von der Test-RUU von HTC.

Ich werde vorerst noch nichts machen, da das Team Venom noch länger braucht um alles auf JB zu portieren (vorläufiger Zeitplan von Jan sollte am Wochenende kommen).

Ich habe aber auch bei den xdas schon gelesen, Dass IC und ViperX mit ICS wohl auch mit dem neuen Bootloader laufen sollen...

Habe seit ein paar Tagen JB ROMs laufen. Erst maXimus und nun IC. Ist Stock aber fix

Testweise hatte ich auch ein ICS ROM geflasht. Es lief ohne Probleme, trotz HBOOT Update.

Hab mir diese Rom nun auch draufgehauen.

Habt ihr auch dieses Problem, wenn ihr die "Multitasting" Taste einstellt, dass diese Menü Option nicht kommt?

Bei mir kommt beim länger gedrückt halten nur die letzen Apps, aber nicht die Menü Leiste...

Habe bei der Einstelltung der Taste die 2te auswahl gewählt.

Noch ein Problem, bei mir ist die Englische Tastatur eingestellt. Sprich Z und Y vertauscht.

Aber diese Taste da unten zeigt mir, dass ich die DE Taste habe.

Rom crasht auch oft wen ich auf Erlauben klicke des Super Users.

Hatte Fullwipe in der Recovery und bei der Rom installation gemacht.

Davor die boot.img installiert.

Wenn ich einem Programm die ROOT Rechte erteile, startet das Handy jedes mal neu und ist unkontrollierbar.

Warum funktioniert bei dir die Menü Taste nicht:frown:
