dies ist mein neues User Customization Rom.
Nach dem PreConfig werden die Anweisung aus der SDConfig.txt (muss im Root der SD Karte sein) ausgeführt.

Hallo Starbase,

erstmal Kompliment für deine tolle Arbeit.

Würde dein ROM gern flashen, hatte bisher bei englischen Roms immer viel Aufwand um das deutsche Tastaurlayout ans laufen zu bekommen. Deshalb scheue ich mich ein bischen davor.

Muss ich bei deinem ROM auch Reg-Keys ändern, oder gibts ne einfachere Möglichkeit, damit auch Umlaute usw auf der Hardwaretastatur richtig funktionieren?

ich habe keine Ahnung von gar nichts, finde das ROM aber ziemlich cool und würde es gerne flashen.

Habe einen xda orbit (1) mit wm 6.0 (CE OS 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.0.2.3).

Kann ich das ROM dann einfach flashen und danach funktioniert alles so wie vorher nur mit einer cooleren Oberfläche? Welche SPL habe ich denn?

der XDA Orbit (alias: HTC Artemis / HTC Cruiser) ist nicht kompatible mit dem HTC Hermes.

Das heißt du kannst dieses Rom nicht flashen !!!!!

Moin moin,
ich wollt nur einmal kurz ein Lob für das nette Rom loswerden.

Habe mittlerweile den 2. Vario II auf 6.1 geflasht und beide laufen ohne Probleme.
Im Gegenteil, Subjektiv verglichen mit dem Schaps 3.57a finde ich das der Vario schneller reagiert (Aufwachen und anzeigen vom Anruf).

Eine Sache habe ich allerdings noch nicht verstanden? was zum Henker ist "Long Press End Key"? Nach rumprobieren (und feststellen das sich nix tut) habe ich im Softbutton Menü die Hold - Rekord Taste umbelegt

Hallo,

die SDConfig.txt ist eine einfache Textdatei im Ansi Format und die schreibst du selber.
Anschließend speicherst du sie im Root der SD Karte.

Es gibt aber noch eine einfachere Version, ich öffne einen Thread dazu und füge den Link dann hier ein.

Nach dem PreConfig werden die Anweisungen in der SDConfig.txt ausgeführt.

Extended Rom ist nicht enthalten, wozu auch.
