FLASHING NOTES



Please read first

NOTE 1 : I use 7zip to compress ROM files with 7z format for High compression ratio.
NOTE 2 : My suggestion is to delete "Application Data" and "Programs files" folders from SD card.
NOTE 3 : REMOVE HSPL2 or HSPL3 . HSPL2/3 don't support the new HTC 3.14 Stock ROM SPL 3.03.0000 (Second Program Loader).

NOTE 4 : USE ver 5x.x GEN V (or old ver 4x.x GEN IV) ONLY with SPL 3.03.0000 and Radio 2.15.50.14 from latest stock LEO-S 3.14.

-A) If you can download stock 3.14 ROM from HTC site for your phone S/N

NOTE 5a : Use SSPL to flash Artemis ver 4x.x-5x.x OR
NOTE 5b : you can use and new HSPL4 to flash Artemis ver 4x.x-5x.x

NOTE 6 : Hard-Reset the phone after flash process has completed.
NOTE 7 : Restart the phone, after first manila screen, (X2 manager need this to work correct).
NOTE 8 : This ROM has NO 576MB trick.
NOTE 9 : This ROM is NOT for US T-Mobile HD2 with 1024MB ROM.

USING WARNINGS

WARNING 1 : Please, NOT apply any HTC HD2 updates, not needed.
WARNING 2 : Please, APPLY CUSTOMIZATIONS (task bar icons, themes, etc) compatible with HTC MANILA HOME v2.5.20181424, and WM 6.5.x.
WARNING 3 : Please, use Applications compatible with WM 6.5.x and New User Interface (UI)
WARNING 4 : Please, use Applications compatible with our phone HTC HD2
WARNING 5 : There is NO need to install any driver, since ROM already includes the best performance drivers for HD2.

NOTE 1 : Artemis always use the latest packages, so some "Stock" behaviors have changed....
NOTE 2 : Please, before posting problems (for any ROM not only Artemis HD2) think first to test the ROM without customizations. All cookers spent a lot of time...
NOTE 3 : Please, when post a problem, give us your "base flashing information":

FAQS

FAQ 1 : If you have "Documents Tad" problem (No documents), please rename your documents folder or move your documents to an other SD folder.
FAQ 2 : Manila "Home Tab Animation" has highest system priority from X2 TaskManager (for speed), so wait to finish home animation before use X2 TaskManager.
FAQ 3 : Artemis "MS-Marketplace" after flashing is simple a "shell" (same as stock ROM). At first Marketplace use (only) this "shell" connect to Ms server and install the Marketplace Application (you must have data connection or UsbToPC sync). After this procedure you can use Ms-Marketplace.
FAQ 4 : How to close an application and not minimize it ?
--a) Double Tap the "WM Clock" (Up-Right screen corner) or
--b) Push and hold the "WM Clock" (Up-Right screen corner) until the application will close (2-3sec). More for X2 manager here.

Ich verwende noch die 5.0, da sie absolut ohne Probleme bei mir läuft. Wenn jemand Erfahrungen mit der 5.5 hat immer her damit :)
Lade die 5.5 gerade runter, sobald ich sie habe pack ich einen rapidshere Link hier rein..

Bei mir läuft die 5.5 genauso super wie vorher die 4.5,die 5.0 hatte ich ausgelassen.

Ich habe jetzt ein bischen rumprobiert und nutze die 5.5 seit 2 tagen, bisher konnte ich nix negatives mehr feststellen, ausser me9iner anfänglichen Probs mit myPhone und ner alten max manila version, seit dem Update kein Problem. Leider habe ich es noch nicht geschafft den Lockscreen mit Wetter und hd2 Uhr durch s2u2 hin zu bekommen....Dafür wird aber kaum sternas was können....Wie gesagt bin top zufrieden...

ich hatte das Problem, dass sich das Rom manchmal selbst "hardresetet" hat.

hab dann das original 1.66 draufgeflasht -> hardreset -> Artemis 5.5 -> hardreset+Softreset und dann gins wieder

bin echt zufrieden!

Das mit dem hardresetten habe ich schon mehrfach in verschiedenen threads gepostet, und Artemis weiss auch drauf hin. Wenn man also Probleme nach dem Flashen hat, sollte man IMMER zuerst nochmal ein Stock Rom Flashen, oder, um Fehler zu vermeiden, gleich vor dem Flashen eines Custom Roms erst ein Stock Rom Flashen, ODER den Handyspeicher vorher mit einem Tool wie MTTY manuell formatieren, das funktioniert genausogut.
Ist übrigens bei allesn Custom Roms zu empfehlen, nicht nur bei Artemis.

Wegen dem Thread tut mir das auch sehr leid, Problem ist das ich nicht HD2-App's gelöschte Beiträge editieren will um den Thread zu aktualisieren, und eine andere Möglichkeit ein neues Posting an den Anfng zu bekommen, gibt es leider nicht. Du kannst aber mal davon ausgehen, das das jetzt für laange Zeit der einzige Artemis Thread bleibt :)

Gut, dann gehe ich mal von einem Badflash aus.
Wenn ich aber ein Stockrom flashe, lösche ich mir damit nicht das HSPL? Irgendwo hab ich gelesen das dies dann passiert, danach muss ich ja quasi wieder HSPL drauf machen bevor ich ein Custom Rom flashe.
Oder nicht?

Ach und. wo find ich ein Stockrom ohne mich anmelden zu müssen. bei xda-devellopers geht das nur mit anmeldung. und auf der htc seite bekomm ich keines weil mein gerät dafür nicht geeignet ist. nehme an wegen branding.

Wenn du ein HD2 direkt von HTC hast dann hier.

Wenn nicht mußt du bei deinem Anbieter schauen ob die eins anbieten.
