Sodele Nun ist es Soweit das die ROM vollständig läuft Kamera sowie Video funktionieren einwandfrei bei irgendwelche Bugs einfach hier im thread Posten oder direkt im IRC von den Developers :)


Status
So da nun der Sourcecode veröffentlich wurde ist es um einiges einfach alles nach und nach zum laufen zu bekommen und Bugs zu fixen, einfach den thread abbonieren um aktuell zu bleiben.



Installation:

- 1. boot.img manuell flashen via "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
boot.img ist in der .zip inkludiert
- 2. In die Recovery gehen und die ROM flashen 
- 3. Reboot

Was funktioniert:

AUDIO ist nun gefixed es fehlt nur noch die Kamera und eben ein paar kleinigkeiten.

-very very smooth and fast
-camera doesnt work, as expected
-mic works as mentioned, but in-call echo is back
-audio works, but only on speakers. Headphone jack isnt being recognized, tho bt audio routing seems to be working
-gps seems to work, tho it takes quite a while for a first fix
-signal bars show low signal strength, but in fact, it runs at the same connection speed as every ics rom. Just a cosmetic issue so far.
-with enabled gps, deep sleep doesnt initiate, like on trips cm9 ics rom
-even tho it is smooth, its not as smooth as with the gnexus
-browser sync indeed doesnt work, but actually, it never has for me before
browser is smooth as hell. I mean, really smooth. Feels great!
-market apps dont restore automatically
-superuser / root works when flashed, or you include it yourself in the rom zip like i did
auto rotation is sooooo smooth and fast!
-google now starts up, but seems to be just sitting there for most/all people
-touchscreen bug sadly is still present, like on every aosp ics rom. Seems to be kernel related, which htc fixed on sense.
-contacts app now has some new subtle transition effects. Plus, contacts merging is now way better. Before on ics, i always needed to merge some contacts by myself. Now i didnt have to do anything at all, everything happened automatically
-multitasking is effin fast. Even recent apps (long-press home) comes up really fast. -Background apps open up as fast as never before.
-new notification area is sweet. Major improvement over ics.
-google calendar is not syncing. After setting up your google account, calender is not in the sync list. If you try to start the calendar, it asks you if you want to add a google account. If you choose yours, an error message appears that your account is already present on your phone
-youtube playback doesnt work. It says that an error occured and i should try again to play back the video. Missing codec?
-adb within the system doesnt seem to work, tho usb mass storage works like a charm

Inzwischen funktioniert alles ganz wunderbar!

Ich bin überrascht das Jelly Bean für das HTC One X hier gar nicht heiss diskutiert wird...

Seitdem ich die CM10 Preview installiert habe ist mein HOX einfach nur noch phantastisch...ich kann es überhaupt nicht mehr weglegen. Die Version p10 ist praktisch perfekt für den täglichen Gebrauch.

Erzähl uns doch evtl noch ein bissel mehr.speziell in Hinsicht auf die Dinge die noch nicht funktionieren sollen,wie zB WLAN.

Mach doch auch noch bitte ein paar Screenshots,damit man ein paar eindrücke bekommt

Wie gesagt, ich habe die CM10 Prevuew 10 installiert, und funktioniert bestens für den täglichen Gebrauch, WiFi direct benutze ich nicht, Radio höre ich auch nicht über das Handy, SdCarx Copy Speed scheint etwas langsam zu sein, in CM Mode gemountet geht es normal.

Für eine Preview super, wenn es dann mal offiziell ist wird Jelly Bean generell Android beflügeln. Ich benutze den Nova Launcher und die Übergänge sind wirklich butterweich, ein Augenschmaus :D

Batterie ist natürlich sehr Benutzer-abhängig, aber einen normalen Tag hält es locker durch. Bitte nicht vergessen das vor einer Woche nicht einmal die Kamera funktioerte, oder WiFi/3G Netz und bis jetzt noch nichts in Bezug auf Akkuoptimierung getweaked wurde. Einige User berichten von Random Reboots...ich hatte heute auch einmal ein kuzes Neubooten mit der CM Animation und danach kein Problem mehr (war aber sehr warm in der Sonne an der Isar als es passierte ;-))

Zum ausprobieren kann ich es wirklich empfehlen, gut vorher ein Titanium Backup der Apps/Daten machen und später wieder einspielen da einige Apps noch nicht JB-Kompatibel im Play Store erscheinen,

ROM Download auf SD Karte kopieren,
Gapps auf SD Karte kopieren (mussen z.Z. noch extra geflashed werden, auch bei upgrade z.B.von P10-->P11)

In Fastboot Mode

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache

ins CWM wechseln

Wipe Cache/factory reset machen
Dalvik wipe

ROM flashen
Gapps flashen

ROM booten/Titanium BackUp einspielen

Jelly Bean geniessen! ;-)

lohnt es sich die version zu flashen?Benutze die viper x rom und komme nach testen von4-5 verschiedenen immer wieder dorthin zurück.

Habe es kurz ausprobiert. Es ist nicht schlecht. Super Performance super schnell. Aber mir fehlt halt Sense.
