Jetzt auch für das Ideos X5 verfügbar….



Bei den Kollegen von xda-developers wurde jetzt eine aktuelle Version des populären MIUI-ROM für das X5 veröffentlicht.
Laut Entwickler ist das hier ein sauberers MiUI Release ohne Mods und Addons.

Verfügbare Sprachen:
English, Chinese, German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, French, Danish, Hungarian, Slovenian, Greek, Turkish.

Bekannte Bugs:
- Echo on speakerphone. Hiss sound in low volume. Low volume in calls.

Installation:
Vorraussetzungen:
- offizielles Huawei-Update auf Android 2.3.5 muss installiert sein
- installiertes CWM Recovery: Huawei U8800 Ideos X5 - ClockWorkMod Recovery installieren

Anleitung:
1) In den Einstellungen > Apps > Schnellstart deaktivieren
2) ROM als .zip herunterladen und auf die SD Karte speichern
3) Phone ausschalten
4) X5 mit Volume+ + Power Button ins CWM Recovery booten
5) hier dann als erstes "wipe data/factory reset" und anschließend "wipe cache partition" durchführen.
6) zu "install zip from sd card" navigieren und mit der Power Taste auswählen
7) zu "choose zip from sdcard" navigieren und auswählen

Changelog MIUI 2.1.6 vom 09.01.2012:
- From this version and on no mods will be included. This is a clean MIUI. For mods check the addons section.
- Fixed most of the issues should be stable now.

- Fixed torch and superuser issue.
- You'll have to use MoreLocale 2 to switch to another language now. Old framework was causing me issues so will stick to the unmodified one.

- Using desire-z framework instead of miui-au should now be more stable and with better battery life.
- Removed extended settings mod / app drawer. Check the miui android forums if you want to install them by your own from now on. Only mod i will continue implement is the t9 dialer mod.

- The usual stuff from MIUI-AU and MIUI-XJ.
- Some changes reverted in build.prop that actually caused worst performance instead of better.
- Cleaned up init.d scripts.

Update auf MIUI 2.3.2 erschienen. Dies ist wahrscheinlich das letzte Update für Gingerbread, da diese stabil läuft und der Focus von MIUI jetzt auf ICS liegt.
