Da das einzige RTOS von Mentor das Nucleus ist, hab ich mich auf deren seiten und wiki etwas umgeschaut und habe dort keinerlei hinweise darauf gefunden ob es nun wirklich Linux based ist oder nicht.
Weiß einer zufällig mit sicherheit das es ein Linux basierendes OS ist?

Naja, Linux ist unter GPL veröffentlicht. Das heißt der Sourcecode müsste für jeden einsehbar sein oder? Das ist beim Arena-Kernel z.b. nicht der fall.
Ergoooo, beschwerde.
Belehrt mich bitte eines besseren sollte ich kompletten schwachsinn reden :D

Nucleus RTOS ist, gelesen im Arenoid Forum, leider nur das Baseband OS, die S-Class ist anscheinend wirklich von LG selbst programmiert (mit einigen propitären Bestanteilen von anderen Herstellern).

We have already responded to your feedback on LG Arena last time, but reviewed the feedback internally to provide you with more information.

Regarding your first request, ‘A satisfying answer would be the promise to develop a new KM900 firmware within a certain timeframe,' we have thoroughly reviewed your feedback and confirmed three of thirty five problems and bugs. We will upgrade LG Mobile software after fixing the two bugs.

The upgrade schedule may vary depending on the LG internal regulations and each country and operator may have a different schedule. Currently we do not plan to upgrade the LG Mobile software.

Regarding your second request, 'give support in porting Android on Arena,' we are sorry to inform you that we cannot provide any assistance. Please note that we do not provide the warranty service and LG Mobile customer service for any failures caused by improper operation of the phone.

It has come to our attention that LG Mobile’s copyrights have been violated
due to the unauthorized sharing of its internal data on Arenoid.com and/or Arenoid.wikidot.com.
The internal data in question includes, but is not limited to, KM900 Service Manual, GSM SVC Tool Part List,

2 Bugs wurden also behoben, die restlichen 30+ können sie nicht reproduzieren und 3 weitere werden in der nächsten Firmware, welche bestimmt nicht kommt, behoben worden sein..

Inproper use? Also ich denke nicht, dass es an der falschen Benutzung des Handys liegt, wenn ca. 95% der Benutzer über die gleichen Probleme klagen. Außerdem ist die Portierung von Android aufs KM900 ein Versuch von den Benutzern endlich ein ordentliches OS für ihr Handy zu bekommen, welches nicht wirklich sein Geld wert war.

lol, ich finds aber ut das sie rumheulen von wegen Lg internes Material usw .D haha sag ich dazu nur, wir wollen halt ein gescheites OS :D

Das ist ja mal wieder en hervoragender Support. 2 von über 30 bugs haben sie behoben.

Wahr echt ein Fehler das Arena so früh zu kaufen. Lg kommt mir nicht nochmal ins Haus.
Das nächste Handy wird ein Handy, welches Funktioniert. (Und am besten mit Android)
