Hab heute mal wieder meine Lieblings-Handy Seite angesurft und bin dabei auf etwas interessantes gestoßen :)

Das neue Chocolate Handy LG BL40 kommt ebenfalls mit S-Class UI, ABER ohne WinMo.

Die normale S-Class wird also konsequent weiterentwickelt, und ich denke unser Arena wird stark davon profitieren

Vor allem, soll endlich eine vernünftige SatNav kommen !

The BL40 New Chocolate has a gorgeous display and its user interface is among the best in the "touch feature phone" class. With a more polished and more customizable UI, a nice music player and excellent video playback support, the LG BL40 New Chocolate is much closer to what the LG Arena should have been in the first place. But as we see quite often, manufacturers always leave some room for improvement to help differentiate their future products.

The one-off form factor and the first of its kind 4-inch display will certainly help the LG BL40 New Chocolate stand out among its competitors, there's no doubt about that.

So that's pretty much all there is to note about our pre-release LG BL40 New Chocolate. Fortunately, the official LG promo material promises even more new stuff.

First off, there will be new SatNav software – the Wisepilot for LG, which should solve the lack of adequate navigation in the LG phones. Next is the enhanced 3D gallery that's even fancier than the current one, new UI functionality in landscape mode and even more eye-pleasing effects. Combine that with Wi-Fi, a better web browser and a 5 megapixel snapper and the LG BL40 New Chocolate begins to sound like a top-notch multimedia gadget - and a fashionable one, we might add.

wäre sehr schön. Für´s erste würde mir jedoch eine neue Firmware reichen, die die größten Bugs behebt. Wäre schon mal ein Anfang!

Das Arena wird nur davon profitieren, wenn dann auch immer neue Firmwares für uns kommen und nicht nur für die neuen Handys

ich glaube nicht daran das sich noch grossartig etwas an dem arena ändern wird... es kommen höchstens noch updates um den ein oder anderen bug zu beseitigen... das wars dann aber auch schon... die neuerungen in der s-class oberfläsche wird neueren geräte zugute kommen...

So schlimm das klingt aber ich schliesse mich meinem Vorredner an!

Leider ist es oft so, nicht nur bei LG, das neue Software den neuen Geräten zugute kommt. So dürfen wir uns wohl im Falle des Falles als profitabwerfende Beta-Tester bezeichnen, denn Obigo und wer da nicht noch alles an der OS beteiligt ist weiß nun was sie für das New Chocolate verbessern müssen.

Naja wer weiß vllt. Testen sie an uns vorab noch eine Version der S-Class die dann auch funktioniert.
