Paul O'Brien von MoDaCo ist der erste der eine Custom ROM für das LG Optimus Speed P990 raus gebracht hat.

Da die neuen Version seiner ROM auf der älteren Ext3-Dateiformat basiert muss das LG Optimus Speed P990 wenn eine ältere Version (z.B. Fr17) auf dem Speed ist erst auf Ext3 zurück geflasht werden.

Seit Version Fr3 gibt es auch die Möglichkeit sich in der Online-Kitchen vorab nach eigenen Wünschen eine ROM zu konfigurieren. Unter http://android.modaco.com/content/lg...line-kitchen/# kann jedes Premium-Mitglied des MoDaCo-Forums diese Funktion nutzen. Für jeden der keine 9,99 Pfund ausgeben will um Premium-Mitglied zu werden steht die schon vorkonfigurierte Version (siehe Download) zur Verfügung. Bei einem wechsel von Version Fr3 oder der Stock ROM auf die Version Fr19 ist kein Full WIPE notwendig wodurch auch die Daten im Internen Speicher nicht gelöscht werden.

Beim Aussehen / Design unterscheidet sich die MoDaCo nicht von der Stock ROM (Original Firmware).

About MoDaCo Custom ROMs

MoDaCo Custom ROMs are based on official ROMs - either shipping or leaked. A MCR release is designed to feel as far as possible like a stock ROM, with optimisations, tweaks and complimentary additions that enhance the user experience. The aim of a MCR is to be ultra reliable for use on an everyday device.

Requirements

In order to use this ROM you must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed - see my ClockworkMod Beta post for details.

Baseband 1035.21_20110622 is recommended, available in this topic.

The ROM is installed at your own risk. The ROM should be installed using ClockworkMod. A wipe IS required. If you are coming from an EXT4 ROM, you need to convert back to EXT3 first using this tool. This is because the new release has an updated kernel for which no source has been released, meaning at this time we are unable to add EXT4 support.

Installation

To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card (/sdcard/_ExternalSD) - you must used a physical microSD card!
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card - your device will auto convert to EXT4 on installation. You MUST use a physical microSD card!
If you have problems with Market licencing, check your device date! 

First boot may take a while - be patient while it carries out it's pre-dexopt. It's worth it! 

Upgrading

A WIPE IS MANDATORY IF YOU ARE COMING FROM STOCK / Fr3 OR EARLIER! Apologies, but this is unavoidable for this release. I recommend using Titanium Backup to back up your data. Wipe BEFORE installing the ROM.

• Dann wählt die "Fr19-update-modacocustomrom-2x-kitchen-unsigned.zip" aus
• Danach +++++Go Back+++++
• reboot system now
• Fertig

Navigiert wird mit den Hardware-Tasten:
Power-Taste => Auswählen/Bestätigen
Lautstärke-Tasten => Hoch/Runter scrollen

Update Installation von Fr4 bis Fr18

Wenn der Android Market nicht geht seht mal in den Einstellungen nach ob dort das richtige Datum eingetragen ist. Nur wenn das richtige Datum eingestellt ist geht der Android Market!

2. Nach dieser Anleitung den ClockworkMod auf deinem Gerät Installieren: http://www.handy-faq.de/forum/lg_opt...04_2011_a.html
3. Den ClockworkMod starten - Im Recovery Menü auf BackUp & Restore gehen - die Sicherrung auswählen die du angelegt hast und diese wieder Installieren.

habs auch da fr4 ist soweit gut leider kann ich keine apps mehr runterladen?
w-lan aktiviert (n-router) internet sau schnell sobalt ich apps laden will komt nur die nachricht das runtergeladen wird aber es passiert nichts?
wenn jemand ein tip hat wäre super.

habe gester daen mod fr4 draufgehauen alles super bis jetzt leider kann ich seit dem keine apps mehr downloaden (download wird gestartet...) und es passiert nichts mehr kann nur noch abbrechen .wenn jemand rat hat bitte melden.
ps:apn habe ich schon manuell gemacht sowie das update auf fr3 hat nichts gebracht auch den market zu deinstaliieren (lösche hat nicht geholfen)

Gehe mal unter "Einstellungen->Anwendungen->Anwendungen verwalten->Alle" dann auf das Market App dort mal auf "Update Deinstallieren" und auf "Cache löschen". Wenn eines von beiden oder beides nicht vorhanden ist bzw. nicht auswähl bar ist kannst du auch mal auf Werkseinstellungen zurück stellen vielleicht hilft das.

Wenn nicht würde ich die ROM nochmal neu drauf Flashen. Und wenn sie wieder drauf ist mal alle Einstellungen Kontrollieren vielleicht verstellt sich was bei Flashen der ROM.

Hier noch eine Lösungsvorschlag.

Stell sicher, dass dein Handy in Google Talk angemeldet ist da es auch oft Probleme gibt wenn man nicht mal angemeldet war/ist.

- Öffne deinen Telefon-App Launcher und wähle die Google Talk App

- Falls du bereits angemeldet warst, dann melde dich bitte ab

- Öffne die Google Talk App erneut

Es lassen sich aus den Market keine APPs mehr laden.

Habe von dem Fehler leider noch nicht viel gehört daher habe ich bisher nur die Lösungsvorschläge die oben stehen.

Spielt erst einmal wieder euer BachUp des Standard Systems ein oder Installiert die Fr3 dort soll der Fehler nicht vorhanden sein.

Sobald ich etwas neues erfahre schreibe ich es hier rein.

Hatte vorher ein Backup mit My Backup gemacht.

Wenn ich das Original zurückspiele hängt es in eine Bootschleife.

data und cache habe ich vorher formatiert.

Für alle die Problemen mit der MoDaCo Custom ROM haben und die keine eigene Sicherung der Original ROM haben hat Paul O'Brien von MoDaCo eine Anleitung geschrieben wie man die Original ROM wiederherstellen kann. Diese ist aber für das Gerät das er besitzt das Optimus 2x da dieses aber mit dem Speed baugleich ist sollte diese auch beim Speed funktionieren.

Ich habe euch die Anleitung mal ins Deutsche Übersetzt:
