Die WGSpoelstra's Gingerbread Edition ROM beruht auf der CyanogenMod 7 Nightly ROM. Die Nightly Versionen der CyanogenMod sind Test-ROMs, die meistens über Nacht erstellt werden. Daher sind diese meist sehr experimentell und werden ohne Support zum Download bereit gestellt. Sie sind als Vorschau auf den kommenden Release zu verstehen und sollten definitiv nur von erfahrenen Nutzern verwendet werden. Wer diese Version benutzt tut dies auf eigene Gefahr.

Welcome to WGSpoelstra's Gingerbread Edition ROM!

Hey all!
This ROM is currently based on CyanogenMod7 nightly build 1.08 and RC1.
I will update it as CyanogenMod7 gets updated, and some other updates inbetween.
As I said, it's based on CyanogenMod7, but has been thoroughly modded by me.
It probably holds the same bugs as the official CyanogenMod7, but I will do what I can when you find any.
Any requests for applications, widgets or anything to be put in the ROM can be posted here!
I will review any requests and see if I put them in.

The ROM currently holds:
- Latest VorkKernel by Benee & Kiljacken
- Libsqlite.so patch by Benee
- Quicker GPS fix in Europe
- Updated BusyBox (1.19)
- Customized framework (icons, battery percentage, notifications tab)
- The following apps:
Terminal Emulator, Browser, Calculator,
Calendar, Camera, Contacts, Desk Clock,
Email, File Manager, Gallery 3D,
Google Sync, Gingerbread Keyboard,
ADW Launcher, MIUI Music, MMS, 
Pimp My CPU 2.8, Rom Manager, 
Sound Recorder, Spare Parts,

Installation instructions:
0. Boot into recovery
1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset when coming from stock/another custom ROM! not needed when coming from an earlier version of this ROM
2. Install zip from SDcard >> Choose zip from SDcard >> select the ROM.zip file
3. Let it install, when done, reboot!

Installation:
Ladet die "WGSpoelstra_GBE_v10.8.0.zip" oder "WGSpoelstra_GBE_vRC1.zip" unter Download und kopiert diese auf eure SD-Karte (/sdcard/_ExternalSD) - Es muss auf eine SD-Karte geladen werden nicht auf den Internen Speicher!

Führt dort folgende Schritte hintereinander aus:

• Starten euer Gerät im Recovery-Modus (VOLUME DOWN + POWER ON gedrückt halten)
• Backup and restore > Backup (Hiermit legt Ihr eine Sicherung des bestehendem System an)
• wipe data/factory reset
• wipe cache partition
• advanced
• Wählt dort "Wipe Dalvik Cache"
• Danach "Wipe Battery Stats"
• install zip from sdcard
• choose zip frome sdcard
• Dann wählt die "WGSpoelstra_GBE_v10.8.0.zip" oder "WGSpoelstra_GBE_vRC1.zip" aus
• auf "YES" - die Installation beginnt und das Gerät konvertiert automatisch um auf EXT4
• Danach +++++Go Back+++++
• reboot system now
• Fertig

Update Installation:

Ladet die "WGSpoelstra_GBE_v10.8.0.zip" unter Download und kopiert diese auf eure SD-Karte (/sdcard/_ExternalSD) - Wichtig es muss auf eine externe SD-Karte geladen werden nicht auf den Internen Speicher!

Navigiert wird mit den Hardware-Tasten:
Power-Taste => Auswählen/Bestätigen
Lautstärke-Tasten => Hoch/Runter scrollen

Wie bekomme ich "Pimp my CPU" ans laufen?

• Go to settings
• Go to CyanogenMod settings
• Go to Performance
• Go to CPU Settings
• Set a governor under 'Available governors'. Either performance or powersave, both will work.
• Hit 'Set on boot'

Nun müsste Pimp my CPU laufen!

Hallo lgjosh,

bevor du die Rom installieren kannst, mußt du dir erst, wie Xendaren schon gesagt hat, den ClockWorkMod auf dein Telefon aufspielen.

Achte darauf, daß du bei dieser Rom die neue 3.0.2.8-Version des CWM benötigst.
