Installation:

Download des Kernels (.zip) und speichern auf eurem Note II.

Root und CWM Recovery mit Odin wie hier beschrieben installieren.

Danach in den CWM Recovery booten (Volume up - Powerknopf - Homebutton gleichzeitig drücken).

Ein Backup des aktuellen ROMs machen und dieses wenn möglich (zur Sicherheit) auf dem PC speichern.

Danach den Kernel von eurem Note II installieren.

Rebooten

Die Möglichkeit zur Installation über PCOdin oder MobileOdin der xxx.tar ist natürlich auch gegeben!

ACHTUNG: Diese Anleitung soll euch lediglich als Hilfestellung dienen. Jeder Systemeingriff am Gerät, wie zB durch Flashen oder Rooten birgt Gefahren in sich. Es wird in diesem Zusammenhang ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass weder handy-faq noch ich Verantwortung für Schäden, die durch Flashen nach dieser Anleitung entstanden sind, übernehmen. Jeder muss selber wissen was er tut und sich zutraut. Weiters wird darauf hingewiesen, dass durch Flashen oder Rooten Garantieansprüche gegenüber dem Hersteller oder Anbieter erlöschen oder sich auch ein Vertragsbruch mit dem Provider ergeben könnte. Daher werden Systemeingriffe immer in eurer Eigenverantwortung durchgeführt.

Heute kam die neue Version 1.3 raus. Läuft bis jetzt Sehr smooth und um einiges besser als Perseus. Zumindest für mich und viele andere auf XDA, außerdem kam eine neue Soundfunktion dazu die mal richtig geil ist.

Mit der 1.7 geht beim Sammy Rom die Info LED nicht.

Zurück auf 1.6 und LED geht wieder.

Achtung:

Ich schreibe mal eine Kurze erfahrung meinerseits, der aktuelle 1.6 & 1.7 N.E.A.K. Kernel macht große Probleme mit der AndroidR. Es funktioniert die LED nicht, und die Automatische Bildschirmhelligkeit !

Ich möchte euch nur warnen, was ihr macht ist euch selbst überlassen :haha:

Ich schreibe das hier auch nochmal in den Android Revulotion Thread !

Stock = ROMs deren Basis sich auf der Stock ROM JB von Samsung befinden (Beispiel: GOA ROM) = Sammy

AOSP = ROMs deren Basis auf CM10.1 beruhen. (Beispiel: Avatar) = AOSP

Unterschieder AOSP, Sammy usw. ist hier zu finden:

Hallo,

ich habe die V1.8 auf meinem Galaxy Note 2 LTE installiert. Es scheint mir so, dass wenn ich die Ladespannung an USB erhöre, das Laden nicht schneller geht. Bei der 1.7 auf einem anderem Note 2 funktioniert es tadellos. Es lädt wirklich sehr viel schneller.

Was mach ich falsch ?

Im Moment ist das Update noch nicht zu empfehlen, da wohl dir CPU Frequenz bei 1600 MHz hängen bleiben soll. An einer Lösung wird schon gearbeitet.
