Installation:

Download der ROM und speichern auf eurem Note II.

Root und CWM Recovery mit Odin wie hier beschrieben installieren.

Danach in den CWM Recovery booten (Volume up - Powerknopf - Homebutton gleichzeitig drücken).

Ein Backup des aktuellen ROMs machen und dieses wenn möglich (zur Sicherheit) auf dem PC speichern.

Solltet ihr nicht von einer vorherigen Version von Omega kommen, dann einen

Wipe data / factory reset durchführen.

Danach Omega von eurem Note II installieren und den Anweisung des Aroma Installers folgen.

(Ein Wipe cache wird automatisch während der Installation durchgeführt)

Das darf jeder für sich selber entscheiden. Es wird hier niemand gezwungen irgendeine Custom Rom zu flashen. Wir bieten dieses hier lediglich an.

Das stimmt nicht.Es gibt eine Rom wo es funktioniert.

Edit: Mit der Omega klappt es auch.

In einem gewissen Alter (wie wir) sollte man auch auf das Datum schauen. Am 20.10.12 war es noch die v4.0

Seit heute, 22.10.2012, ist die v4.1 nach langem Upload endlich erschienen.

Somit ist hier der Downloadlink zur v4.1

Hab noch das Stock Rom drauf gerootet ist aber schon.

Auf meinem S3 hatte ich auch das Omega Rom sowie das Omega Files App, in dem man ein anderes Touchwiz installieren konnte mit 4x6 Icons.

Gibt es das fürs Note 2 auch ?

Brauche eigentlich nur die zu ersetzende File.

Eine Frage, bekomme zwar mein GN2 erst am Freitag aber habe gehört dass es bei den Custom-Roms noch das Problem gibt dass S-Beam nicht funktionert... stimmt das?

bzw. alle anderen Features wie die extra Funktionen des Stiftes (z.b. Sofortnotiz machen) oder Air-View, gehen die alle bei der Omega-Rom?

Moin moin,

habe gerade die Omega installiert, wie ich es von meinem SGS3 gewohnt bin über CWM. Hat auch alles funktioniert, nur jetzt habe ich keine Basisbandversion mehr. Beim SGS3 habe ich einfach eine runtergeladen und installiert. Habe jetzt zwei mal geflasht, immer das gleiche.Warum wird kein Modem mit geflasht ??

Moin moin,

habe gerade die Omega installiert, wie ich es von meinem SGS3 gewohnt bin über CWM. Hat auch alles funktioniert, nur jetzt habe ich keine Basisbandversion mehr. Beim SGS3 habe ich einfach eine runtergeladen und installiert. Habe jetzt zwei mal geflasht, immer das gleiche.Warum wird kein Modem mit geflasht ??

EDIT: Ich habe die LTE Version, kann es daran liegen ?

Kann ich mir sehr gut vorstellen.

Schau mal bei XDA nach, da haben sie für das N7105 eine extra Android Developement Kategorie.

Ist zwar sehr spartanisch aber du kannst versuchen die Stock zu flashen für das N7105.

Wenn du danach wieder eine Baseband hast, dann weisst du wo der Wurm drin steckt :)

Ähmm.. welchen Link wähle ich denn genau für die Stock Rom ? Ich habe jetzt irgendwie den Link mit EmptyStock genommen und geflasht. Also das Modem ist jetzt wieder da. Schade, dass ich auf meinem LTE so keine Omega Rom installieren kann.

Leider etwas spät,aber Problem ist ja gelöst.

Grundsätzlich bitte die OP´s genau lesen. Sollten CustomRoms auf dem 7100 und 7105 laufen, werde ich es dazu schreiben.

Daher auch bitte die Installationsanleitung genau lesen:

"Ein Backup des aktuellen ROMs machen und dieses wenn möglich (zur Sicherheit) auf dem PC speichern."

Und schon wäre vieles unproblematischer geworden.

Ausgehend von deiner Sig nehme ich an, dass Du eine Vodafone Stock drauf hattest.
