Installation instructions:

1. Download Nightlies / Releases [Goo.im mirror]
   
2. Download gapps from BaNkS
   
3. Put the files on SD card.
   
4. Reboot to recovery.
   
5. Do factory reset (ie. format /data, /cache, /sd-ext and /sdcard/.android_secure)
   
6. Flash cm-11-YYYYMMDD-UNOFFICIAL-ace.zip
   
7. Flash gapps zip
   
8. Remember to reflash boot.img via fastboot if you are HTCDev unlocked.
   
9. Reboot and enjoy.
   

Update instructions:

1. Download Nightlies / Releases [Goo.im mirror]
   
2. Put the file on SD card.
   
3. Reboot to recovery.
   
4. Flash cm-11-YYYYMMDD-UNOFFICIAL-ace.zip
   
5. Remember to reflash boot.img via fastboot if you are HTCDev unlocked.
   
6. No need to flash gapps as CM backuptool script should take care of them. (Results may vary depending on which gapps package you are using.)
   
7. Reboot and enjoy.

Habe jetzt die CM Version 10.1 mit Android 4.2.2 draufgespielt bekommen.

da hat er keine Fehler angezeigt.

Handy läuft wieder.

(vorweg ich bin kein spezi, also alles auf eigene gefahr)

ich hatte das gleiche problem und habe ein wenig gegoogelt. es liegt wohl am recovery.

lade dir hier

ein beliebiges recovery-IMAGE runter und flashe sie nach dieser Anleitung

danach solltest du deine 4.4.4.-ROM im recovery flashen können.

wie schon erwähnt ich bin kein PRO, alles auf eigene gefahr!!!

In der Anleitung steht was von einer EXE Datei. Welche nehm ich da und wo find ich die?

Die passt ja nicht zu der "neuen" IMG Datei.

Und kann ich im falle eines Nichtgefallens eine mit CWM 5 erstelltes Backup wieder einspielen?

Anleitung gefolgt. Hat alles geklappt. Ich mache aber Sicherheitshalber ein neues Update bevor ich die CM11 installiere.
