After a lot of work my MIUI gingerbread is finally ready:D

My goal is to provide a clean & fast rom.

With a really close stock look.

Ich hab heute die aktuellste Version von JW geflasht und dann meine Daten und Apps restored, die ich natürlich mit der alten Version gesichert habe...

Ich probiere jetzt mal die Daten zu sichern

Restore ging bei mir auch. Aber ein Backup geht nicht. Also.die alten Daten behalten.

Gerade bei den XDAs gelesen:

(... I never had problem with restoring all my apps but this one keeps on stopping after several apps have been restored and the rest has "cancel failed" error message. I tried restoring only those with this message but has same error. I tried using the same batch on the earlier ROM and it works. Please have a look at MIUI backup. Thanks....)

I'll try and wipe all data again and re-flash the latest ROM and will report back after.

Tried rebooting couple of times before reflashing and did a restore and it worked. Also tried doing backup and worked still. I'll reflash later on tonight and restore again but for now it is all good

@dark.corners I dont know what you are want to say but please provide something useful or go away.

Edit about the backup put the language on english and make the backup then you wont experience issues. There are some old strings for some languages.

Da kann ich direkt mal ne Frage loswerden: Ich hab im Standby einen sehr guten Akkuverbrauch sprich fast keinen... Wenn ich das Handy aber benutze und der Display an ist dann fällt der Akku quasi im Sekundentakt...

Ich hab die Displayhelligkeit auf niedrig aber automatische Sync und WLan und Daten immer an... Ist das bei anderen auch so? Oder könnte das an ner bestimmten App oder nem Widget liegen?

Apps die immer laufen: 3G Watchdog und natürlich so Sachen wie Google und so

Die einzigen Widgets, die ich nutze sind Fancy Widget und den MIUI Musikplayer (den kleinen)

Was mir aufgefallen ist ist, dass ich wenn ich kein oder schlechtes Netz habe auch einen sehr hohen Akkuverbrauch hab...

Watchdog runter. Das frisst Akku. Und beende auch mal deine Programme. Ich habe jetzt das Handy seit 00:00 Uhr dauerhaft an und habe noch 79% Prozent.

Und was genau meinst du mit Programme beenden? Über den MIUI App Manager?

Das mache ich recht regelmäßig. Ich hab auch noch so einen CacheCleaner drauf, der einmal am Tag den Cache cleant... bringt das eigtl was?

Was passiert wenn du lange deine Backtaste drückst? Beendet erst da nicht nacheinander alle Programme. Also Fancy Widget läuft auch bei mir. Automatische Google-Sync, Virenscanner,......

Du willst deine Mobile Datenverbindung überwachen damit du siehst was du verbraucht hast?

Wenn ich lange die Backtaste drücke passiert gar nichts... Wenn ich lange auf die Home Taste drücke öffnet sich ein Fenster mit allen Apps die laufen und die kann ich dann alle zusammen beenden...

Ja eine App zum Überwachen der Mobilen Datenverbindung, bei der ich ein Limit einstellen kann und auch das Start Datum also dass es quasi ab dem 5. zählt und nicht ab dem 1. wenn du verstehst, was ich meine...

Gehe mal unter Einstellungen und dann System. Dann unter Funktionstasten. Da kannst einstellen, dass die Apps mit der Backtaste beendest.

Die Überwachung hat doch Miui auch an Bord. Die App nennt sich Monitor. Die sollte bei dir im Ordner Tools liegen. Da wo auch das Backup mit drin ist.

ich habe Probleme, wenn der 4Way Reboot drauf ist. Hoher Akkuverbrauch und seltsame Aussetzer.

Falls andere diese Symptome auch haben, bei mir war das "4Way Reboot" App schuld
