This is a personal build made for my self, based on DESIRE HD. Is 99% stock, % battery indicator and some animations/icons. It's fully DEODEXED so you can theme it as you want. Also if it's a bit slower then ODEXED builds. I tried also to keep most of the apps, wallpapers and other stuff in it. But most important it uses to put all your DATA folder on EXT partition on your SD CARDso you dont have to worry about storage limite on LEO512

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - NEW USERS WITHOUT CWR INSTALLED OR WITH CWR BUT USING ANOTHER ROM ===

This process will erase everything on your nand. So, if you are already using a previous rom, backup everything!

1. First of all: DON'T USE THE MAGDLR FUNCTION "USB MASS STORAGE" TO COPY YOUR FILES ON THE SD. IT IS BUGGED AND WILL CORRUPT YOUR FILE. YOU HAVE TO USE AN SD CARD READER.
   
2. Download PANASONIC SD FORMATTER and use it to format your card with SLOW ERASE
   
3. Prepare your SD Card with first partition primary FAT32. This is where you will put all your stuff like music, videos... so make it bigger as possible less the space for the EXT partition. Ext partition must be EXT3 or EXT4, primary, and must be the second partition of the SD card, just after the FAT32. The EXT partition will be seen from your phone as it's internal storage memory. Maximum 1gb EXT is suggested, bigger one can cause issues. 4. After the partition are created, you need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread
   
5. Download the FULL RAFDROID PACKAGE and copy the entire zip (not extracted!) on the SD CARD root.
   
6. Put the SD CARD in your phone and power it on and go in the MAGDLR menu (hold the power key while powering up)
   
7. Select BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
8. Click on INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD and then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
9. Select the FULL_RAFDROID_HD_EXT_*r*.zip that you downloaded before.
   
10. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation then Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
    
11. First boot can take up to 20 minutes. If you are stuck on white screen with HTC logo just wait. If you hear boot sound more than one time, you had a bootlop and something has gone wrong. Maybe your partitions are not setted up properly. Delete everything, reformat your SD card and try again.
    
12. When you see the lockscreen, give at least 5 minutes to settle. Then do all your settings and then reboot again
    
13. Enjoy.
    
14. Remember: if you want to avoid Data Corruption always choose SHUT OFF and not reboot!
    

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS RAFDROID VERSION (2.2 or greater) WITH ALREADY CWR INSTALLED===

Since 3.0 is completely new base and a lot of bugs are fixed, I suggest to backup your apps with Titanium Backup or another backup app, format your ext3 partition and start fresh. If you prefer to keep your old data partition please understand that you could have bugs, instability, slowness, and some bugs that are fixed will remain not fixed for you.

It's your choiche, if you still want to keep your data partition, instructions below:

1. Make a NANDROID Backup
   
2. You need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread. Old CWR is NOT compatible!!!
   
3. Download the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip and save it to your SD card root
   
4. Enter in MAGDLR by powering up the phone and holding power botton until MAGLDR screen appears and Enter in CWR Recovery by selecting BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
5. Create a NANDROID backup! This will save you in case something goes wrong and you want to roll-back!
   
6. Wipe your dalvik-cache!
   
   
7. Select INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
8. Select the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip that you downloaded before.
   
9. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation
   
10. Go back and select BACKUP AND RESTORE, then ADVANCED RESTORE.
    
11. Select your backup then select to restore "sd-ext" if you are on 512 leo, "data" if you are on 1024 leo.
    
12. When restore is complete, go back and wipe your dalvik cache.
    
13. Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW

Used some ideas and code bits from Dandiest's init script.

You can create a config.txt file on the

root

of your sdcard to configure some things at boot.

Actually you can configure

RMNET or PPP connection

GPS Zone

SD BOOST

- RMNET or PPP

ppp_mode=0 -> RMNET (default)

ppp_mode=1 -> PPP

- GPS ZONE

gps_zone=[your country] example gps_zone=europe

- SD BOOST

sd_boost=0 -> sd bost not active (default)

sd_boost=1 -> sd boost active

* SD Boost deactivate journal on your ext partition. This gives you more performance but if you not shut off your phone properly or you pull out the battery while running you can have data loss or data corruption. If you activate sd boost, then you want to go back to norma sd usage, just change the config.txt back to sd_boost=0 and journal will be recreated on next boot *

The init script will also create an init.log file on your sd card at every boot. This will help you and me with debugging if something not works fine. If you have issues please always post your init.log file when reporting your problem.

heisst das jetzt nur dass der Speed für die Versionen mit Data2SD darunter profitieren?

Die Data2SD sind doch die Versionen wo man die Data.img + config auf die SD Karte kopiert. Die wir momentan nutzen heisst doch ext2SD oder App2SD oder lieg ich da jetzt falsch?

Habe ich auch gerade gesehen. Ich werde wohl warten, das build läuft sonst bei mir bestens. Was ich nur nich auf englisch kapiert habe, ist das mit dem ext3 und ext4. Meine SD is zur Zeit ne ext3, kann ich die umformatieren ohne Einstellungen und Daten zu verlieren? Oder sind auf der ext Partition wichtige Daten gespeichert?

Ja versuch das mal. Kannst du mir eine pn schreiben wenn das geklappt hat und mir sagen wie du das gemacht hast? Würde auch gerne wieder auf ext4 wechseln, soll ja schneller sein...

Nutzt du nebenbei Ubuntu oder so?Ich denk wenn du die SD karte in ein Linux system schiebst und alle Daten von der ext3 sicherst und dann die SD karte neu formatierst und partitionierst auf ext 4 und dann wieder alle Daten drauf packst, müsste das funktionieren.Ist bissl kompliziert wenn man gerade kein Linux System zur Hand hat.

So, erster boot ist fertig. neustart mit simkarte hat auch funktioniert, handy hat nen bisschen gebraucht bis es flüssig lief und siehe da, alle apps uns einstellungen so wie vorher mit der 2.2 version, wobei ich die sd karte komplett platt gemacht und und eine ext4 erstellt hatte.

Und bis jetzt rennt es wie sau, schneller als die 2.2 mit ext3 :)

ähm... bin grad so ziemlich am verzweifeln vl könnt ihr mir ja helfen?!!

auf alle fälle versuch ich seit tagen den "MAGLDR" auf mein hd2 zu spielen oder flashen kriegst nicht hin.hab vor ne woche das „ROM Upgrade Utility” (RUU) ausführt auf der htc homepage jetzt hab ich das ROM-version 3.14.162.5!! mit ROMUpdateUtility von "MAGLDR" versuch ich die bootloader zu bekomm aber es geht nicht

mein verdacht wär vl weil der update von "MAGLDR" auf 2.00.000.0 geht und so viel ich weiss kann man nicht wieder runter

dann hast Du den Hacken drin gehabt das google deine Einstellungen und Apps speichert. Beim ersten anmelden bei Google werden die Apps dann automatisch neu installiert. Colle sache. Hab ich seit der Version 1.0 schon so.

okay, dann hier mal meine kurze anleitung wie ich es gemacht habe:

-> HSPL 2.08 muss vorher installiert werden, damit das alles funktioniert, sonst könnt ihr garnichts flashen ausser den originalen roms

!!! Alles als Administrator ausführen !!!

1. HTC Bootloader gestartet und per USB mit Task29 alles vom handy gelöscht

2. Radio Rom 2.15.50.14 geflashed, auch über den HTC Bootloader per USB

3. MAGLDR111 auch per HTC Bootloader

4. SD Karte mit 2 Partitionen formatiert, erste als Fat32 und zweite als ext4 mit 1024MB größe!

5. Folgende Dateien auf die Fat32 Partition kopiert:

- CWM_RAFDROID_HD_EXT_2r3_FULL.zip

- initrd.gz + zImage (aus dem "copy_to_sd_root" ordner von "FutureShocks Custom Clockwork Recovery")

6. SD-Karte ins handy

7. MAGLDR111 starten (startet automatisch so wie ich vorgegangen bin)

8. !!! warscheinlich nur für "CWM RAFDROID 2.3" !!!

- flash.cfg im "FutureShocks Custom Clockwork Recovery" ordner auf folgende werte geändert:

misc ya 1M

recovery ya|ro 5M

boot ya|boot|ro 5M

system ya 360M

cache ya 10M

userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

9. Clockwork per USB mit der "DAF.exe" geflashed

10. mit Clockwork die RAFDROID zip Datei von der SD-Karte installiert

11. nachdem das Setup auf dem handy durchgelaufen war und ich alle einstellungen vorgenommen hatte, hab ich noch einen neustart gemacht

12. fertig ;-)

könnt ihr mir als HTC HD2 Anfänger bitte mal ausführlich erklären wie ich die RAFDROID HD 2.3 rom installieren kann. Ich habe noch nie zu vor ein HTC gehabt daher bin ich auf dem Gebiet ein absoluter anfänger. Bitte helf mir. Unter Windows XP oder 7.
