This is a personal build made for my self, based on DESIRE HD. Is 99% stock, % battery indicator and some animations/icons. It's fully DEODEXED so you can theme it as you want. Also if it's a bit slower then ODEXED builds. I tried also to keep most of the apps, wallpapers and other stuff in it. But most important it uses to put all your DATA folder on EXT partition on your SD CARDso you dont have to worry about storage limite on LEO512

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - NEW USERS WITHOUT CWR INSTALLED OR WITH CWR BUT USING ANOTHER ROM ===

This process will erase everything on your nand. So, if you are already using a previous rom, backup everything!

1. First of all: DON'T USE THE MAGDLR FUNCTION "USB MASS STORAGE" TO COPY YOUR FILES ON THE SD. IT IS BUGGED AND WILL CORRUPT YOUR FILE. YOU HAVE TO USE AN SD CARD READER.
   
2. Download PANASONIC SD FORMATTER and use it to format your card with SLOW ERASE
   
3. Prepare your SD Card with first partition primary FAT32. This is where you will put all your stuff like music, videos... so make it bigger as possible less the space for the EXT partition. Ext partition must be EXT3 or EXT4, primary, and must be the second partition of the SD card, just after the FAT32. The EXT partition will be seen from your phone as it's internal storage memory. Maximum 1gb EXT is suggested, bigger one can cause issues. 4. After the partition are created, you need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread
   
5. Download the FULL RAFDROID PACKAGE and copy the entire zip (not extracted!) on the SD CARD root.
   
6. Put the SD CARD in your phone and power it on and go in the MAGDLR menu (hold the power key while powering up)
   
7. Select BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
8. Click on INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD and then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
9. Select the FULL_RAFDROID_HD_EXT_*r*.zip that you downloaded before.
   
10. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation then Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
    
11. First boot can take up to 20 minutes. If you are stuck on white screen with HTC logo just wait. If you hear boot sound more than one time, you had a bootlop and something has gone wrong. Maybe your partitions are not setted up properly. Delete everything, reformat your SD card and try again.
    
12. When you see the lockscreen, give at least 5 minutes to settle. Then do all your settings and then reboot again
    
13. Enjoy.
    
14. Remember: if you want to avoid Data Corruption always choose SHUT OFF and not reboot!
    

=== INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (CWR) - UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS RAFDROID VERSION (2.2 or greater) WITH ALREADY CWR INSTALLED===

Since 3.0 is completely new base and a lot of bugs are fixed, I suggest to backup your apps with Titanium Backup or another backup app, format your ext3 partition and start fresh. If you prefer to keep your old data partition please understand that you could have bugs, instability, slowness, and some bugs that are fixed will remain not fixed for you.

It's your choiche, if you still want to keep your data partition, instructions below:

1. Make a NANDROID Backup
   
2. You need to flash MAGDLR 1.13 and the 400mb Recovery for MAGDLR that you can find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898913 follow the instructions on the thread. Old CWR is NOT compatible!!!
   
3. Download the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip and save it to your SD card root
   
4. Enter in MAGDLR by powering up the phone and holding power botton until MAGLDR screen appears and Enter in CWR Recovery by selecting BOOT AD RECOVERY
   
5. Create a NANDROID backup! This will save you in case something goes wrong and you want to roll-back!
   
6. Wipe your dalvik-cache!
   
   
7. Select INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD
   
8. Select the RAFDROID_HD_EXT zip that you downloaded before.
   
9. Select "Yes - Install........" and wait for installation
   
10. Go back and select BACKUP AND RESTORE, then ADVANCED RESTORE.
    
11. Select your backup then select to restore "sd-ext" if you are on 512 leo, "data" if you are on 1024 leo.
    
12. When restore is complete, go back and wipe your dalvik cache.
    
13. Go back with power button and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW

Used some ideas and code bits from Dandiest's init script.

You can create a config.txt file on the

root

of your sdcard to configure some things at boot.

Actually you can configure

RMNET or PPP connection

GPS Zone

SD BOOST

- RMNET or PPP

ppp_mode=0 -> RMNET (default)

ppp_mode=1 -> PPP

- GPS ZONE

gps_zone=[your country] example gps_zone=europe

sd_boost=0 -> sd bost not active (default)

sd_boost=1 -> sd boost active

* SD Boost deactivate journal on your ext partition. This gives you more performance but if you not shut off your phone properly or you pull out the battery while running you can have data loss or data corruption. If you activate sd boost, then you want to go back to norma sd usage, just change the config.txt back to sd_boost=0 and journal will be recreated on next boot *

The init script will also create an init.log file on your sd card at every boot. This will help you and me with debugging if something not works fine. If you have issues please always post your init.log file when reporting your problem.

Ich kann mit der 4.0 mein Sense Wetter nur noch über WLAN aktualisieren. Über die Mobile Datenverb. gibt es immer einen Abbruch. Ist das bei euch auch so?

Ich habe die Version [06.MAR.11][CWM] RAFDROID HD 4.0|Fastest Full DesHD|DATA2EXT|[Rafpigna 1.8 OC] seid gestern Abend auf meinem HD2 und bin echt begeistert. Installation keine Probleme, Apps mit Titanium Backup zurückgespielt keine Probleme. Bis heute keinen Abstutz. Stromverbrauch Super habe noch 76%.(gestern 21 Uhr vom Strom abgenommen, ein wenig getestet(93), heute Morgen 6 Uhr 91%(im Flugmodus), heute 3 SMS, 2 x 10min telefoniert, 15min GPS getestet und ca. 20min Internet. Ich denke da sind 76% um 18.10 Uhr OK. Bis heute habe ich keine Probleme gefunden.

habe mir das gestern auf das handy geflasht + thema hatte das vorgänger version drauf...

das problem ist wenn ich das handy neu starte und es fährt hoch kommt eine meldung sens regiert nicht !!!!

und was mir aufgefallen ist das ich ab und zu kein netzt habe das passiert oft wenn ich das handy vom stand by hole..

wenn es im hintergrund synchronisiert wird das handy langsam....

auserdem wenn ich es aus dem stand by hole braucht es ungefähr 4 sec. bis ich das habdy entsperren kann,....

der akku hält bei mir ca. 10 std wlan ist 90% an....

Heute morgen um 5 vom Netz genommen. ca. 20 Minuten navigieren lassen, dann das Handy etwa 3 h intensiv genutzt, davon 1h Angry Birds gespielt, dann wieder Heim und 25 Minuten navigieren lassen. Jetzt sind noch 40% auf dem Akku. Noch vor kurzem war ich froh, wenn ich ohne Navigieren den Tag ohne Nachladen überstanden habe.

Ich habe mit der 4.0 das Problem das wenn ich das Handy aus dem Standy hole kein Toucscreen funktioniert erst nach etlichen versuchen reagiert der Touchscreen wieder.

Habe auch schon die ZIP neu installiert leider immernoch das gleich Problem.

Naja das ist jetzt schon sehr einseitig dargestellt...

Es gibt etliche sehr gut funktionierende Builds und Rafpigna ist ja nicht der einzige aktive Koch.

HyperDroid GBX läuft meiner Meinung nach sogar wesentlich besser, als die Builds von MDJ. Und ich hatte früher nur MDJ Builds auf meinem HD2.

Habe keine Probleme mit dem Entriegeln. Wetterakt.geht nun auch. Alles bestens.

Ich hatte mal Touchscreenprobleme unter 3.1, da habe ich dann SetCPU von 1500 auf 1300 runtergenommen. Im Leerlauf geht die CPU auf 245 MHz runter und spart Akku.

Also ich habe jetzt mal sämtliche persönlichen Daten gelöscht im CLW und die ZIP neu installiert und fahre gerade hoch. Bis jetzt geht der Toch ...

vermutlich ist beim Update ein Fehler passiert.

Na dann mal ran alles neu einstellen.....

OK nach der PIN Eingabe und Auswahl Deutsch kurz ins Standby und seit dem keine Reaktion mehr.

Bekomme Den Slide nich nach unten um zu entsperren....

Es scheint sich hierbei wohl um einen Hardware defekt zu handeln denn ich habe mein HD2 jetzt zurückgeflasht auf die aktuelle

auch hier habe ich alles einstellen können und nachdem das Handy im Standby war konnte ich ncihts mehr eingeben....jetzt bekomme ich noch nicht mal mehr den PIN eingetippt....

Habe SPL 1.66 aufgespielt und werde es morgen dann als garantiefall abgeben.

Hallo zusammen,

vielleicht kann mir von euch jemand helfen.

Was ich noch immer nicht verstanden habe sind die OC Optionen im Raf. Seit ich die 4.0 drauf habe, habe ich einen EXTREMEN Akkuverbrauch. Im Standby, BT an, WiFi aus, GPRS an, sind es gern mal 5% in 10 Min.

Habe ich die Möglichkeit die CPU-Leistung runter zu fahren oder macht das ROM das automatisch?

Hasst Du nach der Anleitung die SD Karte vorher neu formatiert mit ext3 oder ext4. Der verbrauch müßte deutlich besser sein als unter 3.x.

Heute Nacht kommt im übrigen 4.0.1, die die hier beschriebenen Bugs ausbügelt.

Nein, die Leistung kannst Du nur indirekt verringern, indem die Taktung je nach Bedarf reduzuert wird. Geht mit SetCPU.

Ich habe mit dem Akkuverbrauch kein Problem. Heute wieder sehr oft genutzt, und der Akku ist noch fast halbvoll.

Interessant wäre auch der verbrauch im Standby. Evtl. ziehen da miese Speicherkarten einen Haufen Strom, ich habe aktuell lächerliche 1-3 mA.

mal ne dumme frage, wie kann ich 2 partitionen auf der sdkarte machen..kann zwar die größe einstellen ..aber keine aufteilung..oder partotionierung...vll liegts ja da dran

Partitionieren kann man auf verschiedenen Wegen. Am sichersten geht es unter Linux mit gparted. Eine beliebige Linux Live CD starten - die Karte in einen Reader und dann eine 1 GB primäre ext3 Linux Partition anlegen und den Rest als FAT32 - ebenfalls primär anlegen und beide formatieren.

Ich habe das auch schon mit der Karte im HD2 gemacht. Je nach Linuxversion ist es aber nicht so einfach darauf zugreifen zu können. Für nicht Linuxerfahrene ist der erste Weg einfacher.

4.0 sieht eine neuformatierte Linuxpartition ausdrücklich vor, sonst gibt es ein Durcheinander im Dateisystem und ein auf Dauer instabiles System.

Edit: Laut Anleitung soll erst die FAT32 Partition und dann die ext3 Linux Partition angelegt werden. Ob das eine Auswirkung hat kann ich nicht sagen. Ich habe es auch schon umgekehrt gemacht, ohne Fehler feststellen zu können. Wollte nur noch einmal darauf hinweisen.
