LG KM900 Arena - Firmware Modifizieren (Fraggers Bastelstube)

ìch bekomme seid Stunden/Tagen/Wochen keine verbindung mit meinem Km900 hin. PCSuite funzt, Wechseldatenträger funzt, jedoch funzt es nicht wenn ich das ks360 oder das kp500 oder das Flashtool nutzen möchte, es kommt immer ein Timeout oder im ks und Kp tool, "For NAND systems an EBl must used(oder so ähnlich)). Hab vorhin alle Treiber neu installiert ändert aber am fehler nur wenig,.

Wenn ich mein Handy ohne Akku und Sim anstecke, erscheint im Hardware Manager nur kurz der Flash Utility Treiber ist das richtig so, nach ca 5s verschwindet er wieder .

das ichs malmit der ausprobieren könnte?

EDI>T hab im inet gefunden das es an der Treiberinstallation liegen muss.

Kann mir jemand genau die Treiber verlinken welche ich benutzen muss?

ich weiss nich 100%ig obs jetzt geht, aber ich glaube man darf auf garkeinen Fal die IFWD_.. .dll in dem kp500 ordner ersetzen,. !!

die CUST Theme wird fast komplett erstellt dann kommt ein timeout?! woran liegt das denn ?

es ladet bis 70% die datei herunter, im ks und kp tool , wie auch im flashtool,., dann brichts ab mit nem Timeout

Ja gemacht, mache ihn normalerweise nicht!

Aber da es nicht funktioniert hat habe ich einen FactReset durchgeführt, um wirklich sicher zu gehn!

Ich glaube das lohnt sich nur wenn etwas in den Speicher geladen wurde, heißt irgendwelche Einstellungen für z.B T9 oder ähnliches.

Von den visuellen Wünschen her, fehlt uns eigentlich nur noch der CubeHG und der mysteriöse dritte CubeHG (der, der beim "normalen" Drehen angezeigt wird). Ich dachte schon mal, der wäre in "dummy.vui" aber keine Änderung hier hatte Auswirkungen.

EDIT: Kameraton: Das wird so, wie bei den Schriften sein. Die sind in irgend einem InhaltsVZ drin. Wir nähern uns dem Mist von unten her.

... und wühlen in dem Dreck von LG rum. So viele verwaiste Dateien. Faktisch ist die FW doch bestimmt keine 100 MB groß, oder?

Schon gar nicht, wenn jedes Bild (z.B. Hintergrundbilder für oben) nur EIN mal da wäre.

Kennen wir IRGENDWEN mit Connections zu LG, dass wir vielleicht an eine SDK oder so kommen? Für Buttons hinzufügen / Funktionen umprogrammieren sehe ich nämlich schwarz, denn ICH werde sicher nicht mit einem HEX-Editor in den seridata.vui's rumwühlen, wenn die da drin stecken.

Also hoffen wir auf die XMLs, oder auf vieleicht doch jemanden bei LG? Ich mein, wir würden die FW ja VERBESSERN - das wäre kostenlose Arbeit für die!

heißt, eine EXE mit Maschinencode. Die einzige Möglichkeit, vielleicht was zu ändern, wäre disassamblen.

Wer sein Handy opfern will, der könnte Versuchen, einen anderen Bootloader hochzuladen, vom Gm730 zum Beispiel! Dann hätten wir Windows Mobile.. aber wer opfert schon 250€ für etwas, das vielleicht nichtmal funktioniert!

Wir könnten auch die "bmp" nehmen die bei der Boot Partition dabei ist und da die Version hinschreiben, die die cFW hat..

Ich mache übrigens gerade einen Mod mit iPhone Icons, musste auch welche selbst erstellen, sieht etwas schicker als die Standards aus(Meine DigiCam ist leider nicht die Beste):

Hab keinerlei Absicht, den iPhone Style zu kopieren, ich finde einfach dur die Art wie die Icons aussehen gut. LG bleibt LG, darum werde ich auch keinen Apfel beim Booten einbauen.

Ich werd demnächst mal probieren ein Landschafts- / Abstraktes Bild hinter die Icons zu legen. Mit halbtransparenten Umrandungen um die "Überschriften" der Kategorien (am Besten in blauer Blitz-Form oder so). Mal sehen, wie sich meine doch relativ hellen Icons vor farbigen Hintergründen machen.

mal noch eine Anmerkung zu den Kamera Tönen

besser wäre es , wenn das Arena garnicht erst auf die Idee kommt nach Tönen(Shutter)

zu suchen. Dadurch verzögert sich die Aufnahme dann weniger. Es geht halt weniger Zeit verloren.

Ich habe ein bisschen Zeit gehabt un ein kleines tool geschrieben das die Addressen der Partitionen aus der FLB datei extrahiert, so muss man das ganze nicht immer per Hand und Hexeditor machen, man kann das ganze dan auch als csv exportieren...

I wrote a little to to export the various information contained in the FLB files, so you dont have to do this manually with a hex editor, the infomation can also be exported as csv.

pbalanq, do you have an Idea where we can find the XMLs, which are pointed to by the serdata.vui in the "normal" vui files?

and btw: flashing the GC900 Idle_hs.vui didn't work. probably because they only point to the xml's and we might need to edit them as well.

what do you reckon would happen, if you flashed the gc900 firmware to the arena? how different are the phones - any experiences?

The system is based on nucleus OS. I try to use it but the main problem is to get the autorisation from LG and infineon and sign a licence to use the eeprom with the developping tools. Changing OS on the phone is only possible if you found link between A250img.bin, file 04, 05 and 06

we extract the informations of A250img.bin ( calling process ) and each command in some module call this address calling module.

All .PXO module are crypt :-((( I try to get a key. On the LG KU990 this file is in smalltalk ( very good language ;-)).

the problem is not to found this file but which file is calling to execute the process for all .VUI file !

It's possible than the system extract the Vui file and it contain himself the .XML file !

If you want to mix some part of firmware between GC900 and KM900 you could have " mismatching version " !
