Schön wäre, die Bezeichnung der Firmware und ein kleiner Changelog!

Infos zum Update

Hab allerdings auch ne menge negatives bisher gehört... bei einigen geht das Handy nach dem update nicht mehr...

Changelog:

-PC does not detect N97 or USB charging connection not detected.

-Fix for “Alphabetical and Number input are mixed in facebook until end key is pressed.

Habe mal nach meiner Softwareversion geschaut. Hier die Daten:

Ich gehe mal davon aus, das schon ein Update zur Verfügung steht. Nachdem ich es aktuallisieren wollte, wurde ich aufgefordert, Benutzername und Paßwort ein zugeben?

Mhm, welchen Benutzername, welches Paßwort? Stehe ich gerade auf der Leitung?

Achja, eine Frage noch. Ich habe gelesen, das sich das Problem mit der Hintergrundbeleuchtung nach dem Update erledigt hat. Was hat es denn damit aufsich?

PS: Ich habe ein branding Handy von T-Mobile

Hab ich gerade im Netz zur 12er Firmware gefunden:

CHANGELOG:

Das russische Technik-Blog mobile-review.com durfte mal wieder ein Nokia vorab testen - dieses mal das Nokia N97 mini. Warum ich es hier bei den Updates erwähne? Wegen eines Satzes im Text:

The phone’s software also features kinetic scrolling (which will be introduced in the N97’s second firmware scheduled for mid September).

Das bedeutet, alles Schimpfen auf die momentanen Bugfixes lohnt kaum. Im September wird alles (vielleicht) besser.

Die neue 2.0 Firmware soll eher mitte bis ende Oktober rauskommen. Wie immer kann es je nach Produkt-Code einige Tage/Wochen/Monate verspätung geben. Ich habe mit der 2.0 Firmware gespielt und diese Firmware macht super spaß. Das Nutzergefühl ist im vergleich zur jetzigen Version um Längen besser.

Hier habe ich alle Änderungen und Neuerungen in Text und Video festgehalten. Schaut mal rein, es lohnt sich:

Ich habe mir soeben mal die Mühe gemacht und mit VF telefoniert. Voraussichtlich kommt das neue Firmware-Update nächste bzw. übernächste Woche.

Es gibt jetzt für den Produktcode 0586702 die Firmware 12.0.026. Diese wird nicht auf der Nokiaseite und auch nicht per *#0000# angeboten. Nur per "Aktualisierungen Suchen" wird die neue Version angezeigt.

Leute bitte schreibt hier nur etwas, wenn es eine neue FW gibt. Alles andere hat hier nichts zu suchen! Wenn jetzt noch jemand irgendetwas schreibt, was hier nichts zu suchen hat, gibts eine Verwarnung! Ansonsten wird das ganze hier dicht gemacht!

So nachdem das Update wohl nich angelaufen is hier Auszüge aus dem Nokiaforum zu dem Updateplan.

"I am not sure about the origin of the above but what I can say is that the schedule is incorrect.

We are for sure putting the N97 PR2.0 out for public download as soon as possible. PR2.0 will be a major overhaul of the PR1.x baseline. In fact, there is so much new stuff included that we will first introduce PR2.0 via NSU. The schedule for PR2.0 is still not verified, but I'd expect to find the open market versions being distributed by the end of this month (this is not a promise). You will be notified of the new SW availability via myNokia (are you a member yet?) and the in-built SW update application on your N97, which will notifiy you about new firmware releases in NSU and/or FOTA as well as core application updates such as Maps etc.

FOTA updates to PR2.0 will follow in due course.

I know that there is a lot of anticipation for this release and therefore we are putting an extra effort to ensure that your update experience will make it worth the waiting.

In addition to the above, next week we are introducing the latest version of the NSU client so be aware that you will have to update your currently installed version. The main changes in the new client include support for the N900 product as well as some minor improvements. "
