JellyBam 7.1.0 official will comes today – Info and details

So, i usually doesn’t make any article when a new jellybam update comes out, but this time i will.

Some important things to say:

As many of you already saw, the official changelog is already out and readable here: https://www.bam-android.com/#changelog but i also know that is quite complicated to read for not really expert people, so, i will write here only the major changes.

This is one of the finest jellybam release, not bugfree at all, but very awesome.

Let me spend two words for the persistent bug you will find on it:

• 
  Text only battery: the text only battery is not yet fully fixed. unfortunatly when you enable it, after 2/3 mins the battery icons appear below it. If anyone is expert and would like to give a look at my github for a fix, feel free to do

• 
  New ParanoidPreferences tile for hdpi devices: There is a new PaPref tiles in 7.1 that basically will open up the custom settings for the app you are running. On xhdpi devices it works fine, owever, on hdpi devices, the buttons for apply and reset are out of screen in portrait (works fine in landscape).

No other bugs a part these 2 has been founded from me and testers on 7.1.0. Now let me spend 2 words for the new things (not everythings since they are too much and i actually can’t remember all of them)

• BAM Modder: allright, i write it during my boring time. Testers says that it’s great and really simple so let’s believe them. What is it? simply a place inside settings in wich you can download some mods like launchers, fonts, sounds mods and much more. After each download a dialog will appear telling you the location of the file and let you choose if you want reboot to recovery for flash (if zips) or install the apk (if apps). A donation version of the BAM Modder it’s already alive in the playstore (keep in mind that it won’t have any additional feature. It’s just a way to support us with 1€)

• Redeisgned BAM Control lockscreen settings: merged by the last aokp build 6 commits

• Pa Prefs 5.2: merged from the last ParanoidAndroid build (Someone encouter a problem for save and restore backups that point to /null/ folders. I’m one of the people that encouter the problem, but by reading from pa changes, it’s becouse i doesn’t have any external sdcard (in wich the backups are now saved)

• Tiles: allright, you will find inside some new tiles and powerwidget like the new hybrid one, the reboot one and some more

• TouchWiz launcher has been removed: don’t worry, it’s available inside the BAM Modder.

• The Mms bug in holo bam mode that wont display sender name has been fixed

• Phone features: new phone features inside phone settings to mark rejected calls has missed. If you are cheating your gf, you will love me!

• Many more

The build will be available today as an easter present from the bam team. This time, 2 times faster thanks to Frogfire that donate me a space on his server for compile the rom that is now available for over 40 devices.

Also, a big welcome in the bam team to: Frogfire (of course) and MVODESIGN that design the BAM Modder icons.

Auf der zugesteckten SD-Karte? Bei liegen dort die settings und die license XML von TitaniumBackup... sonst nichts...

Hab da noch was anderes.

Die Rotation ist total empfindlich neuerdings. Ab und zu kippt der Bildschirm 90 Grad nach Links (zB. in whatsapp oder Dolphin) und dann bekommt ich ihn nur wieder auf hochkant wenn ich die App beende.

Gibt's noch eine andere Möglichkeit das anzupassen ausser unter Display - Rotation.?

Will sd Karte mal Formatieren,das heißt bei aokp sd löschen unter speicher,richtig!???

Wollte jetzt meine Backup wieder vom pc auf sd kopieren da sagt der pc immer bei m-d5 kann nicht kopiert werden ,und jetzt

Soderle, die v7.1.0 ist nun drauf.

Habe vor der Installation den Chache geleert und dann einfach über v7.0.0 gebügelt.

Kann bis jetzt nicht negatives berichten.

So jetzt mal den Akku voll laden und morgen früh schauen wieviel % er über Nacht braucht.

Guten morgen,die option ist ganz ok,s4 töne. Bis jetzt genutzt,bin aber der Meinung die 7.1 läuft sehr schlecht ganz besonders paranoid settings!?

Die 7.1 ist für das S2 und S3 ich habe da nur die Bilder hochgeladen im S3 Bereich und hier verlinkt.

Sorry wollte keine Verwirrung stiften.

Also die 7.1 läuft extrem butterweich auf dem S3.

Hi habe die 7.1.0 geladen den orginal Kernel malgelassen . Vorher hat mir der Dori den Akku leergezogen konntest direkt zuschauen wie leer er wurde 2 mal am Tag ranhaengen.

Was mir aufgefallen ist die Hintergrundbilder sind etwas vergrössert auf dem Display.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit der v7.1.0 über Nacht waren es 5% Akku Verlust, das kann sich sehen lassen.

WLan war die Nacht über mit an.

Zu den paranoid settings kann ich nichts sagen, da ich sie einfach nicht nutze

Die meisten die es ohne Fullwipe geflasht haben, haben keine Probleme.
