I wanted to cook up myself a lite rom free from all the bloatware, so decided to take a leap into the rom cooking world and here is my first release.

This rom wont be for everyone (I Suggest you take a look at the removed apps) however most key apps can be downloaded via Market.

This Rom Implements Advanced tweaks by PikaChu01 for better memory management, battery management and speed adjustments. Original thread can be located here

I am currently trialing these tweaks to see what affect it has on our device, so far so good and battery seems to be good.

Specs

Version 8 is for those that want a LA6 Rom to test Jkay and other mods as requested, however as some mods can cause issues as reported in other threads if an issue arrises please post in relevant thread

Why use this rom. Well its a good solid base for you to tweak how YOU want. There are many roms out there far in advance of this one however what we have here is a smooth trusty solid rom.

Why is this rom called the mistress edition, well one of my users summed up this rom in a cracking comment which i will quote here

Installation

NEW - Install Instructions - NEW

Ok their was an original problem with the first upload which caused loss of vibration. I accidently found a workaround which i have tested repeatedly for about an hour, flashing the same sequence over and over again.

SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND THEN REREAD

You need to have CWM and be rooted

THIS WILL DO A FULL WIPE as per usual have a nandroid backup incase and back up your EFS folder i accept no resposibility for anything that you choose to do to your phone (o

Make sure your phone is fully charged (always good practise)

Copy the downloaded rom file to your phone

Reboot into CWM

INSTALL the copied file WITHOUT doing a factory reset

Reboot phone

Skip setup if presented get to the homescreen

REBOOT back to CWM

Start a FACTORY RESET (DO NOT INSTALL ROM YET)

Reboot phone and again skip setup and get to homescreen (vibration will now be back working so test it)

Once confirmed reboot to CWM for the last time

INSTALL rom again (DO NOT DO A FACTORY RESET)

Enjoy the new Xtra Lite version

Do not install additional apps package until you have booted into your phone

If you enter a bootloop on first install of rom DONT PANIC. Remove battery, factory reset in CWM and continue to reboot phone and follow instructions. This happened to me once actually, if it happens to you please report with which rom you came from and which site you downloaded from.

To enter recovery when in bootloop, take battery out and hold

Volume UP - Home and then the power button until cwm appears (hold all together but press power as last one of the combos)

Whole process should take about 10 minutes, i will locate where the script is failing to do something but as this is stable i dont envisage any further updates untill the new base

This Rom has a stock theme, allowing you to choose a theme based on your preferences rather than mine

This rom wont be supported avidly as im busy at work however if you want a slim rom to trial this may (or may not lol) be it. Ill Update it if and when a new release comes out

Known issues

Changing CSC Code causes issues with scripts and Boot animatons due to formatting when changing code

Market does not work for a few users (some overcome this with original older market app
