fixed sharpness control in cm7 & miui

tweaked ondemandx governor

reverted all parameter tweaks in kernel code to defaults and moved them to tweaks.sh to apply them via sysctl interfaces. you can tweak them further by using your init.d scripts. you can find the tweaks.sh in /sbin/siyah and I have also typed the default values as comments.

some more tweaks for UI responsiveness

some fixes (such as sched_mc=2 problem which was causing more battery drain in beta15)

added some more governors but also removed most of them I compiled all available governors but some of them are compiled as modules. so, if you have a favorite governor which is removed, just “insmod” it. only recommended governors (ondemand, ondemandx, smartassv2, lulzactive, performance, conservative) are loaded as default. brazillianwax, savagedzen, lagfree, lazy, interactive, interactivex, powersave and userspace governors are loadable as modules.

compiled HFS and HFS_PLUS filesystem support as module. if you do not use apple or hfs on your USB sticks this change is not for you.

known issues:

only external sd is mounted over usb in CWM recovery.

SiyahKernel v2.2 Complete Source Package

This package has:

codesourcery lite compiler (toolchain)

complete source code for siyahkernel v2.2

initramfs

build scripts

you only need to run “build.sh” (as in the previous releases)

for ntt-docomo version, first run “make ntt_defconfig” in siyahkernel2 folder.

to compile nolog version, first run “make siyah_nolog_defconfig” in siyahkernel2 folder.

you may need to modify several lines in build.sh to copy the resulting kernel images (both zip and tar) to anywhere you like.

hab die final von 2.2 getestet und muss sagen, dass diese nicht so gut läuft wie die 2.1.1 bzw ich bei smartbench gleich satte 1000 Punkte weniger zusammenbringe. Werd jetzt mal den neuen speedmod testen und dann wahrscheinlich wieder auf die 2.1.1 von gokhan zurückgreifen

Will jetzt mal diesen Kernel in Kombination mit CM7 antesten. Mit den Samsung roms werde ich irgendwie nicht warm

Habe jetzt auch den 2.2 nolog mit CM7 und läuft sehr gut. Mal schauen was kommt, scheint aber stabil zu laufen. Habe aber auch keine veränderungen vorgenommen

Ich kann die freezes beim 2.2 nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe das volle Sparpaket.

- Nur 1 CPU laufen

- max 800 Mhz

- undervolted

... und keine freezes, NULL. Aufgrund meiner Spareinstellungen hab ich halt eine leichte Verzögerung, wenn ich ein Programm öffne, aber scrollen geht butterweich.

Was genau versteht denn ihr unter "freezes"?

btw. Ich kann eine Verbesserung der Akkulaufzeit feststellen.

Ich unterscheide da zwischen "kurzen" freezes

Telefon reagiert kurze zeit auf garnichts fängt sich dann aber wieder

und kompletter freeze

Telefon hängt sich auf und ist nur noch durch einen neustart (lange Power drücken) wieder zu laufen zu bekommen.

Passierte bislang eher selten 3x wobei ich wie gesagt nicht weiss obs u.U.

auch am UV liegt. zum einem geh ich bis 100Mhz runter und das mit sehr wenig Spannung.

Wer weiss vieleicht lags auch an was anderem, das kann man nie so 100% genau sagen

wenn ich bei 800MHz unter 1000mV gehe, hängt es sich manchmal komplett auf.

Ist eher selten, aber meist dann wenn mans braucht.

Deshalb mV hoch, damit es nicht mehr passiert.

Akkulaufzeit, habe ich momentan im Schnitt 16 Stunden.
