The Wookiee language is hard to understand, and quite frankly, even harder to pronounce. We humans simply lack the necessary anatomy to make the barks, growls and moans that are required for a hearty conversation.

But now, with the Wookiee Translator available on your iPhone or iPod touch, you can translate and play back anything you or your friends say into the language of the Wookiees (known as Wookieespeak or Shyriiwook.)

Languages currently supported for translation into Wookieespeak:

~ Galactic Basic (English)

Instructions:

1) While holding the record button, speak clearly into the microphone on your iPhone (touch users will need a microphone... sort of...)

2) When you have finished speaking, release the record button. The App will then play audibly what you have said, translated into Wookieespeak. (Again, touch users will require an audio-output source, like headphones.)
